Nathan threw the basketball away, rather bored. He could've sworn he heard an angry yell, it probably ended up hitting someone. He walked towards Ezra and sat next to him on the bleachers, looking at his classmates. He then turned to him. "What's up?" he asked, glancing at his notebook before returning his attention back to him.

Getting a notebook from his bag - and a pen - he stashed the bag back under his seat, and he opened the notebook to a mostly blank page. The page was mostly blank, because there were several small drawings of constellations in the margins, and he was intending on adding to them. He glanced towards Nathan when he sat down near him, a little surprised. "Um... not much." He responded, quietly, "Just a little bored, I guess."

When Kylie got back the teacher wasn’t in the gym, so she decided to take a short brake. She sat behind two boys, which she recognised as the ones who were talking last period. She began to draw in her notebook when it was taken from her hand. She jumped up to try grab it, but the boy held it out of her reach, laughing he ripped some of the pages out. Kylie jumped to try grab it but he was too tall.

Nathan glanced at his drawings then back at him. "Your drawings are nice." he replied, thinking they were nice. His attention was turned to Kylie, and he stared in disgust. "Really, man?" he said, anger in his voice. He didn't know what to do, he was rather afraid if his reputation would be ruined.

Kylie felt tears well up in her eyes. These drawings meant everything to her, and she was not about to let them get ruined because of some dumb guy. She heard Nathan’s voice. But she didn’t care, he has a reputation that he cares about more than anything, so she knew he wouldn’t help the girl that everybody hated. kylie began to walk away, she heard the guy yell something at her, she picked up a basketball and quickly turned around and threw it at his head. Startled, the boy dropped her notebook, Kylie ran and collected it. When she looked up, lots of people were staring at her in shock. Kylie felt her cheeks flush, and she mumbled an apology to the boy, before running out of the gym in tears.

Jazz smiled. "Yeah Jazz is just my nick name. My real name's Jaspar. But I don't like that much so I get people to call me Jazz." He scratched the back of his neck, and tried not to get to carried away in his life story."I remember my mom telling me how I got my nickname, I was super little and was trying to pronounce my name. I kept on saying "Jazzzzperr." A real emphasis on the z's. My mom made fun of me that I was saying 'Jazz' instead of 'Jas' and therefore, my nickname was created." He gave hand actions in and out, like he was gesturing an explosion. "Sorry, I like talking to people who'll listen." He shrugged. He guessed he liked talking, when he wasn't super shy all the time on certain days.

She would have gladly beat him up, but she decided a promise of what she could do to him was enough.

Nathan looked in surprise as the events unfolded, the guy teasing her then Kylie throwing a basketball at him before leaving the gym in tears. He sighed, knowing he could’ve done something. I’m an idiot. A total coward, all for my reputation. he thought with total guilt. He attempted to shrug it off. ”Oh man, I’m an idiot.” he mumbled, looking at the floor. He looked back at Ezra. ”Soo... how are you?” he asked.

Ezra replied, and his attention soon turned towards the drama that started to unfold, with some other guy taking a girl's notebook, until she threw a basketball at him and got it back. He flinched a little, then he looked back towards Nathan. He tilted his head to one side, in confusion, but he answered his question, "I'm good, I think. A little bit bored, but I guess I can't complain." Ezra said, then he asked, "Why? What's up with you?"
