Born and raised on the outskirts of Tamworth, Jordan grew up around horses with his father being a well known breeder and his mother an eventer. Being the middle child, he often felt as if he was ignored by his parents as he unlike his older and younger sibling who both needed the extra attention due to severe asthma an autism, was born a completely healthy child. So Jordan spent most of his time at the barn with the stable hands and trainers which then developed his skills in the horse world

Yoska is a quiet young man who would prefer spending time with animals rather than people. He's often kept to himself, and is happy to stand at a distance rather than socialize. That's not to say he isn't friendly if approached, just shy. He's come a long way in the past couple months. He'll let new people approach him, and he'll actually exchange words. His social skills have improved. However, he still harbors a fear of men, particularly those larger than himself.

His first language is Romani, and he has picked up several others in his travels.
Speaking German, Romanian, French, and English, he may be one of the most multilingual people at the barn. However, due to having almost no proper schooling, Yoska is almost completely illiterate. By this age, learning to read and write is difficult, and he's too ashamed to ask for help. He's afraid people will just think he's stupid.

Yoska is about 5'9", thin and a bit lanky, with dark olive skin, clearly a mutt. He's been working on gaining weight recently, overcoming a lifetime of living on scraps. His hair is curly and dark brown, usually messy and unkempt. Taking a brush to it is quite the feat. His eyes are dark brown. He usually always has a little hair on his face. Yoska can always been seen with his necklace on, the only thing he has left to remember his family by.

Yoska was born to a Romani family that traveled around Europe. They were a very traditional bunch, using horses and wagons (along with cars) to travel from place to place. From a young age, the horses had captured Yoska's attention. He had always loved animals.

When Yoska was 10, his family crossed the border into Romania, where they were arrested and deported due to lack of passports and papers. In the chaos, however, Yoska, got separated from them and left behind. Alone, he became thin, sick, and was in constant fear of being hurt or robbed. The Romanian people didn't have a very kind view of gypsies. He survived by moving from town to town, begging on the streets.

When he was 15, Yoska was found and taken in by a farmer, who put him to work to earn food and a place to live. Yoska was never paid actual money, making the transaction illegal and slavery by definition. Yoska did everything from make home repairs to work in the fields, all the while favoring the barn animals over farmhands. Although his life had improved from begging for money on the street, Yoska still lived in fear. The farmhands weren't too kind to him, often making him do the work that they were supposed to do, calling him a 'filthy, lazy gypsy' all the while. If he ever tried to defend himself, he would be beaten or scared into submission.

It wasn't until Yoska was 20 that he was discovered by a Christian missionary couple, who took him away from the terrible conditions of the farm and brought him back with them to Canada. It took several months to get him the proper passports and paperwork together, all the while, he was too skittish to interact with just about anyone. Once he was in the clear to live in Canada, the church he was living at launched a search for a proper home.

The stable owner decided to give him a chance as a barn hand, as he was experienced with caring for animals. In fact, animals seemed to be the only thing that would coax him out of his shell. Yoska essentially lives at the stables, so that there's always someone around in case something happens in the middle of the night. He's made it clear that he loves and appreciates his job, but he hasn't quite gotten used to being treated properly. He still nervously lingers on the outside of any kind of event or gathering, and sticks to his barn chores rather than socialize.

Alex has always stuck to herself; not because she is shy; she just doesn’t like to put up with people. Yet there are some people she will get along with. Sometimes she can come off as rude but she doesn’t really know how to communicate any differently, so try not to let get to you.
Even as a child, Alex always had a things for horses. When she was 11, her grandmother leased her a pony named George. And, slowly, he started to make a living off of winning competition. He'd also been in many jobs and has managed to pull through the rough times.

History: She grew up at a show jumping barn until she was bought by Matthew. He's had the mare since she was three. She has always been polite and ready to go when she was introduced to jumping causing them to move up through the levels rather quickly. She's been very successful due to her owner's praise and positivity even when they didn't do well. But, when they started to win/do well the mare loved the feeling.
Other: Adores Matthew and if anyone is to ride her other than him it usually ends rather badly.

History: Grew up and lived in a highly competitive show jumping barn. Due to his tall figure they soon learned he was really successful at popping over rather high jumps. Has been owned by Matthew for about 3 months and will be starting to compete soon.
