It was getting a bit late - too late to go collecting herbs and such. Luckily at the coast camp, life has been thriving, and weather has been warm. Their current stock of medicine could wait until tomorrow morning. In the meantime, Frostpaw started walking back to his den.
He noticed Rabbitpaw staring/glancing at the medicine cat's den. Frostpaw figured he wasn't feeling well, or something of the ilk. What other reason would there be for looking so dejected at an empty medicine cat den? He walked up to the other apprentice. "If you're not feeling well, there are more ways to get my attention."

Strikepaw shrugged, leaving Calmpaw and Silverpetal to themselves. As much as she'd like to hang around, she'd rather get some food in her after everything that happened today. She bounded back to camp - calling back, "Catch you guys later!" Perhaps she could get some sleep early. She was a big fan of sleep.
Back in camp, she scooped up a vole, taking a few bites. Gotta keep her energy up, she has a meeting with Ginger tomorrow!

Frostpaw nodded. Admittedly, an empty medicine cat den would be a good cause for concern. "I was in camp all day. Didn't want to leave it without a medicine cat when I don't know where Tigercreek is. He'll probably turn up before the day's done." For the time being, the clan would have to settle for him instead. Thankfully, nobody had needed medical help, save for Dapplestream's headache. He was still a bit anxious about his change in apprenticeships, even if he didn't show it.

"I'll see you later?" she mewed affectionately, bounding off to find her mentor. the young molly wanted to ask if they could do a hunting session the following day, as it was definitely one of her weaknesses.
