"If they're this organized then theres a full group.. and a leader." Bayclaw replied frowning slightly. She wanted to continue on, go past the border, but that was too dangerous and she knew it. No matter how curious she was. "So what should we do now?" she asked. "Rose is busy.. She's getting her nine lives.. But Embergaze is in camp. Should we get a bigger patrol and press on? Should we wait and see if anyone shows up?" she asked looking back towards the border. She stared across hoping to see a familiar face but saw nothing.

Brighteyes shook her head "Unfortunately no." she said with a soft sigh. "But, many of the kits are about to be apprenticed so hopefully i'll get lucky and have something to do soon." she said. "Otherwise I might take to just laying around camp and hoping Embergaze puts me on every patrol." she said chuckling slightly.

Embergaze laughed nervously "I promise not to send you on extra patrols if you make me mad." she said attempting to lighten the mood. She paused for a moment "Assignments are.. always pretty awkward.. I didn't expect you either I thought maybe.. someone I was friends with already but.. I was hoping at the very least we could possibly become friends eventually." she said. That would make it work wouldn't it? That was what many of these were, weren't they? Embergaze didn't know a lot about love, every time she thought she did she got it wrong. But what she assumed was that most mates were just good friends. That seemed to be the nature of the clan at least to her.
Frostpetal

Frostpetal nodded and headed out of camp, she stifled a yawn and continued forward. "I guess i'll just go this way since i'm leading." she said chuckling lightly. "So off we go, nobody get left behind they'll never forgive me if I lose someone." she joked glancing back at them.
Ravenwind

Ravenwind turned his head "Hm?" he asked before his gaze settled on Aspensong and he pricked his ears "Oh!" he exclaimed. Then he just stood there shocked. With all that talk about Aspensong he'd never thought they'd run right into her right after. He blinked slowly and turned his head to look at Brackenfall as the other tom took off. (keeping that for swishy to see)
He ducked his head "Yeah, you're right." he said simply before he made his way over quietly. He made his way to Brackenfall's side and looked at him calmly, waiting for him to settle down before he said anything.

Brackenfall looked over at the same time as Ravenwind, sucking in a quick breath as his eyes widened. It took him only moments to finally react and he took off running over to their sister "Aspensong!" he screeched before he almost tumbled into her "Oh my StarClan you had me worried sick!" he snapped "I thought you were dead!" he hissed.

Darkgaze padded out of the warrior's den his yellow gaze moving past Frostpetal for a moment and a look of sympathy crossed his face before he looked away. He understood heartache well. Though it may be in a slightly different way. Darkgaze had, had two cats now that he'd loved and lost. Which seemed to be the reason he never spoke to his assigned mate or anyone really in a more romantic sense.

Swiftleap wrapped his tail around her "I'm sure they're looking down on us right now. I bet they're with my sister having a wonderful time." he said softly. He glanced back at his sons quietly. It was hard to think about how they'd lost both their daughters. It was an ache that never truly went away. It wasn't something he'd ever wish on anyone else. He flicked his ears and smiled slightly "Stormkit and Silverkit will be apprentices soon before we know it too." he said. "Most of the kits are about that age now or very close to it. We're going to have our paws full here with all these apprentices." he said chuckling lightly.
Hawktalon

Hawktalon snorted slightly as Briarheart joined them though he couldn't mask the happiness that shone in his eyes when she came over. They'd seemingly lost everything and put the pieces back together and it drew him to her more and more every day. He was especially greatful Acornkit seemed to take to her too.

Riverbriar felt the tips of her ears heat up and she smiled brightly "Oh Moonflight i'd love to go there one day." she said softly. She pressed her side against his and purred "We talked about it before but.. Maybe we could even have kits one day and raise them there." she said softly.

He nodded "Yeah that part sucks.." he said before he continued along "But i'm sure we'll get to see it in time." he said offering her a small smile. "It's still early new leaf and everything is still growing." he said.

Willowsong giggled nervously and glanced away "Yeah.. True.. I guess I just worry too much.." she said. "I almost feel bad for her.. That seems like a lot of work.. Sounds so stressful." she shook her head before she glanced towards the empty leader's den. She knew Rosethorn wasn't there at the moment but it stuck out in camp as a constant reminder of their leader.

Paleflame widened his eyes, his ears perking up quickly. "What?" he said before he glanced around to make sure no one was paying attention to them. He then pinned his ears "I.. I like you too Swallowfeather.." he said his voice softer than before.

Spottedpaw giggled and nudged Vipercry giving him a small smile. She was so happy to be able to go out with him like this. This is what it would be like soon. Her going off with all the warriors, one of them. Just like Vipercry. She could hardly wait. She'd missed being able to do so much with him since he became a warrior.

Treekit nodded "Okay.. Don't drag tail on the ground.. Got it." he said. He attempted the position again but kept his tail off the ground, looking over at Ivypaw quickly.

Acornkit squealed slightly "They don't??" she echoed before she took another bite of her meal and purred. "When i'm older i'll hunt for you guys!" she said puffing up her chest and purring louder. "Then no one will eat as good as you either." she said.

Mottlecloud stood up, slowly padding over to Flurrybreeze and Frostpaw frowning at them both "It's alright." he said softly. "He's with StarClan now he's okay." he said glancing back and forth between his mate and her apprentice "He'll never have to suffer again with them. He's safe." he said.

Mistyfalls glanced at the two kits she'd recently taken in quietly and nodded. She felt very grateful to have been allowed to raise them but she did feel very bad for them and their parents. She turned her attention to Deerhorn quickly and frowned worriedly "I'm very sorry Deerhorn.. You've suffered far too much.. If there's ever anything I can do to help.. Please let me know." she said softly.

Lionfang looked back and forth between the two apprentices as they spoke. Finally he spoke up "That's right I don't have an apprentice." he said. "I'm not Marblepaw's mentor i'm just helping out. That's what you do in a Clan you help each other." he said flicking his tail "And I can train with you too. When Copperfang.. Copperstar. Gets back we can talk to him about getting you a mentor don't worry about it." he said. "I can show you the moves and you can see Marblepaw do them too." he said.

Bearshadow nodded "I know.. And I agree." he said. "But i'm still rather curious." he admitted. "I'd like to know who my parents were and if I had any siblings... Just what happened you know? It's strange to not know. I don't even know what name I might have had." he said.

Rainysplash nodded and smiled before she scented the air making sure they weren't getting too close to any wandering DuskClan cats. She then pressed on "Right up here." she said as she ducked under some low branches and came out on the other side in front of a small cave. "This is where you can go to talk to StarClan." she said softly.

I guess he didn't want us to worry.. He.. ugh.. It's all a mess." he shook his head. "I'm sure Copperfang will be good though.. Wolfstar picked him.. He has to be good." he said.
