kiera walked along, finding platform 9 3/4. she began to quietly talk to herself....

"Moony!"Sirius called,running through the crowds of muggles to his friend.
"In trouble again are you Padfoot?"Remes laughed,closing his book.

James walked through the station, looking for either the platforms 9 and 10 or his fellow Marauders. He heard Sirius shout Moony, and smiled. He started that way, trotting behind his trolley.
"Hey Padfoot, Moony." He said, walking up to the two Gryffindors.

"S'up Prongs?"Sirius grinned,"A brush still not able to tame your hair?"
Remus smiled softly,shaking his head slightly. The gesture showed the premature lines on his worn face.

Adam Jeffery was making his way through the crowd, struggling with his heavy luggage. He noticed three fellow Hogwarts students a year above him. They were Gryffindors, so the only reason he recognized them was because they were those guys that his best friend always talked excitedly about. According to her, they were "Absolutely ingenious pranksters! You should see their work-Brilliant!".

Adam was about go say hi, since he was rather bored, but before he could a voice behind him yelled;

"Adam! Adam! Over here!"

Speak of the devil, it was his best friend, Nessa Ranson. The dark haired girl was jumping up and down, waving excitedly; Adam suspected she had eaten some chocolate.

She ran up to him, eyes alight hyperly; The result of her ADHD.

"Hey! It's so great to see you again! I missed you! How was your summer? Mine was boring! Was your summer boring, Adam? I hope you at least had fun! Are you excited to get back to school? I am! But I'm also kind of nervous because we're starting new classes! What classes did you pick Adam? Are you nervous? Hey-"

"Nessa." He looked down at her sternly. "Have you been eating chocolate again?"

"No! Of course not! I mean-maybe-I mean-Yes..." If Nessa was a puppy, her ears would have flopped.

He held out his hand expectantly. "Hand it over."

Nessa reluctantly pulled an Aero bar out of her pocket and placed it in his palm, muttering;

"Stupid, responsible chocolate-stealer..."

Remus rolled his eyes at a commotion a little away from where the three were standing. Propping himself against a wall, Remus opened his book: Lycanthropy and started reading,not that he needed to read up on lycanthropy. He tuned out of what was going on round about him and focused on his book.

Feeling a bit guilty for bursting Nessa's bubble, Adam tapped her shoulder.

"Hey," He said, pointing to the maraunders. "Look who it is."

Nessa's sad face lit up within seconds.

"Hi!" She called to them. "I'm Nessa Ranson! You're in my house-The maraunders! I admire your work! You guys were the ones you inspired me to set the snow-bomb off in the eating hall last year!"

Adam's eyes widened. "That was you?!?!!"

He flashed back to the hot day in May when he had been eating lunch, and it randomly started snowing.

"That was you?"Remus asked,his voice a mixture of humor and curiosity as he walked towards the pair,"You've sure got some decent ideas for pranks." He closed his book over fully as he reached them,mentally noting that he was on chaper eight,the chapter on the process of the transformation.
