Swiftstar narrowed her eyes. She was still a little unsure about the figure that stood before the patrol. Shaking her head she turned around. "Hawkfrost. Take the patrol and go on. We'll catch up." She nodded at the tom. "Smokepaw, Reedfeather, Roseflight, and I will stay here and figure out if this is really Fogtail." Swiftstar flicked her tail as she turned back to face Fogtail.

Silverpaw watched as Silvermist arose from her position. She nodded a farewell to the she-cat before turning back to Sparrowfall. "Maybe we should be getting back to camp?" The she-cat tilted her head. Time was drifting away into sunhigh. However, the apprentice was enjoying soaking up all of the sun that she could. Silverpaw thoroughly enjoyed the warmth.

Graymist nodded her head. "I ate a small rabbit by myself earlier so I'm alright." The she-cat grinned. She pulled her tail in beside of her, positioning her small body into a comfortable position. It wouldn't take much for her to fall asleep if she tried. However, the she-cat forced herself to remain awake. Graymist lifted her head just enough to watch her friend consume the rat's remains. She was glad to have a friend who understood her and appreciated her. Unable to control it, a yawned escaped the she-cats mouth. She rolled over, exposing her lighter gray belly, allowing it to soak up the sunshine. "Do you think we'll have a rough leafbare?" Graymist glanced up at the sky, "We haven't had a very cold leaffall, so I wonder if we have anything to worry about for next season." Though her long pelt was helpful in keeping her warm, the she-cat still didn't care for the colder weather.

Jaysong nodded at the apprentice's question. "I did get a whiff of fox." He growled. "I expect the border patrol was able to take care of it, but if not..." He glanced at his paws, unsheathing his claws, "I'm ready to help fight it off." The tom looked over at Brightsky, "We don't need any more injuries, now do we?" There was a hint of playfulness in his voice as he spoke to the she-cat.
"Thank you for fixing her up." Jaysong nodded with respect to Shadowpaw. "I'm sure Mistypool will be pleased when she hears how well you handled this." The tom smiled, his usual fierce expression softening.

☞ASPENCLOUD quickly discarded of the remnants of the prey, his stomach finally appeased. A soft rumbling purr began in his throat again as he returned to the sun soaked patch of earth beside Graymist. Lowering himself in a less that graceful manner back into the packed dirt, the lanky warrior let out a content groan. His usually sharp amber eyes slowly became more and more dull as he relaxed, enjoying the simple comfort of their scenario. The sleek black Tom listened to the she-car beside him, ears twitch every now and then when she let a sound escape. Finally, she began to speak and he turned towards her, eyes bright and alert once more. Aspencloud lay there for a moment, looming thoughtfully over her shoulder. ”though I’d love a gentle leafbare, I can only assume that it will be another harsh one. I believe we should always prepare for such a case anyways.”

the youngest looked at Hawkfrost while he praised her she smiled as she felt a little bit of pride, she was about to say something abput his remark but she decided to keep her mouth shut. She nodded as she was to learn about marking territory. She still have a bit more adrenalin to spare after all that fox ordeal, the bitter taste of the scent still slightly lingering as it fades. She would aspire to be like them bur she couldnt help to think what to be like a medacine cat like her mother, but a warrior is as good as that.

Ravenwing purred happily when Echosong started sharing tongues with him and he licked her shoulder in return. For him this was a sign of trust and friendship with most cats, but Echosong had always been something special to him. But he wouldn't let his hopes get high, not when she kept looking at Robincall like he was the center of the universe. But he kept grooming her grey pelt, his amber eyes glittering with barely hidden fondness.

Echosong finished grooming Ravenwing’s fur, smiling up at him. It was afternoon already and the evening patrols would be sent out soon, so she decided to get some rest before going out again. The grey warrior dropped her head onto the ground between her paws, her eyes slowly drifting closed.

Silvermist trotted back to camp, the evening sunlight making her pelt glisten. Instead of the usual dull grey color, her fur sparkled silver, making her seem fish-like. Chin up, she padded through the entrance tunnel to see various cats sharing tongues. Birchpaw wasn't in sight and Silvermist guessed she was on patrol. That apprentice sure does have initiative! she thought to herself. She assumed evening patrols would be sorted and discussed once the leader returned back and she wanted to catch her apprentice before then. In the far corner she spotted Echosong and Ravenwing sharing tongues. Slowly Echosong drifted off to sleep as Silvermist walked over. "Sorry to disturb you," She nodded politely, "But have you seen Birchpaw anywhere?" She asked the tom and the she-cat.

Robincall caught a few other pieces of prey including, a vole, rabbit and a fish in the river. As he wandered the forest, he couldn't help but find himself back on the path to camp. Without thinking, he was at the entrance tunnel. There was Luckywish. He stopped abruptly and quickly scampered away. Had Luckwish spotted him? She was someone who made him so confused. He couldn't take it, he just wanted to be alone with his thoughts. Robincall sprinted off in the direction of the cliffs. Everywhere seemed to be inhabited by toms and she-cats. He didn't turn around to see if she had followed him but a feeling deep down inside him wanted her attention...
