“Nope! Speed is the way to go!” She said as she hurdled over a bush and entered the forest. She ducked under every branch, and leapt over obstacle. She was graceful and quiet with her fast movements, a true hunter. The light between the leaves of the trees shone down on her pelt in splotches, making certain parts of her golden fur gleam as she shot through the trees.

I've made a mistake Noibat thought to himself. But soon enough, he managed to settle into Luxray's mane. He watched the forest go by in a blur, wondering how Luxray managed to go so fast without running into anything. Perhaps she'd practiced running so fast. Perhaps it was just pure luck. "Where are we going anyways?!" He asked, having to yell to be heard.

erika gasped when gold grabbed her wrist, surprised by the sudden action. she didn't even have any time to protest against it—nobody had ever even tried to grab her wrist before. when he let go when they had finally reached the forest, erika couldn't help but miss him holding her wrist. sure, it was a trivial thing to miss, but erika did anyway. when she was asked which was she wanted to go, she paused for a moment to think, and answered quietly. "let's go straight." she walked forward, looking around at the trees and at nike, who had run from the beach and into the forest. nike grunted tiredly, and erika pet her starter, returning her back into her pokeball. "get some rest, nike." erika whispered to the pokeball, placing it back in her bag. as she made her way through the forest with her arms at her sides, she looked up at the sky (or, rather the parts of the sky that was shining through the trees). "wow, the sky is so.. blue." erika muttered to herself, focusing back on the area in front of her. stepping around some of the large plants near her feet.

amaryllis froze when she heard a voice speak over the intercom, nodding her head as she returned her pokemon to their pokeballs. "sorry, guys. we can't make any crowns right now. walking slowly around the base, amaryllis sighed disappointedly. they had to come in the base because the champions and trainers were exploring the forest in groups of.. two? she couldn't remember the exact number they were said to be splitting up into, but two sounded right. amaryllis walked into the base, looking around curiously, before shaking her head. she knew she didn't truly belong here with all of the people on the team, and part of her had wanted to run off and find the trainers venturing through acrea. they were her one-way ticket out of this place, and she had to seize the moment. amaryllis knew deep down inside that she had to stay, though no matter how much she wanted to leave. if she did leave, however, she'd become an enemy of team clone, and would probably be hunted down constantly by the members of the team.

Watching her for a moment, the champion gestured for Ambipom to come along before he began to follow. Though he was reluctant, the Pokemon followed nonetheless not wanting to be left behind without his trainer. Managing to jump up onto Gold's back and hold onto his shoulder, he let a sigh grunt escape his throat causing the teen to give a roll of his eyes. "I wonder what might be beyond this forest. I thought I saw mountains in the distance when we were flying in," he mused. He hadn't paid much attention to the layout of the region when they were in the sky. He remembered a few minor things about it but not all too much. He figured the forest expanded for a good distance given that the area really hadn't been affected by people yet though he couldn't help but wonder if there might be other terrains such as marshes, deserts or anything like that. He knew some regions could have very different terrains in it maybe Acrea would be no different. "Do you remember anything from when we were in the sky?"

The Pikachu didn't stand down even when the Pokemon ducked into the trees below. Riley may be small but he acted much bigger than he was when it came to protecting his trainer and even protecting Hoenn as well. As the Pokemon emerged once again with a trainer on its back, the Pikachu's cheeks sparked up once again. Moving forward the branch the best she could, Caitlyn narrowed her eyes slightly as the male spoke before grabbing her companion to hold him back. "Yes, I am and you must be the trainer that took off after his Pokemon without bothering to say a word to anyone. Do you realize how dangerous that is?" she scolded. He may have not been one of the young trainers, but that didn't mean he had any right to run off without saying anything. The champions weren't supposed to be babysitters for any of the trainers no matter how old they were. She understood going after a Pokemon but going alone had been the problem. Calming Riley down, she reached for a pokeball and released her Salamence. Allowing the Pikachu to jump onto it first, she climbed off the branch onto the dragon's back. "I also got lost looking for you out here."

"I'll.. help you get back. Audino has exceptional hearing, so she can guide us back." He padded Audino on the head. "We can ride Solgaleo if you want..?"

Cubone waddled through the forest, looking all around her, momentarily forgetting about her anxiety. She soon remembered though, and the forest seemed to hear her thoughts. Trees seemed to lean over her, promising fear, and the bushes seemed to rattle on purpose. She braved through the forest anyhow, trying to ignore these details that continued to make themselves known. For a second, Cubone could see patches of light shining through the dense shrubs and trees. She pretended not to see it. She fixed her thoughts, looking for extra shelter, food, maybe even something pretty! She decided that scary thoughts were tiring, and that eating wasn't, so without much thought she waddled around looking for some berries. Cubone loved all flavors, so whatever she finds is a win-win for her.

Solgaleo jumped back in surprise when the Pokemon burned the grass in front of them. Their claws flexed out in response to the Pokemon's height, but Solgaleo forced their body to calm down and remain friendly. "Oh! I-its okay, you just scared me a bit" they replied, kind of happy to find themselves in another's presence. They knew they would eventually have to talk to something, so might as well talk to this one.

Kif glanced around, realizing people were starting to head off. Panic began to rise in his chest. Would he be left to explore on his own? He didn't really know anyone here.
