Ivyheart studied Hawkpaw for a minute, then nodded. "Sure," he mewed, getting up. He was glad he had an apprentice- Sunstar must have thought he had made good progress training as a warrior after being medicine cat apprentice. "I was about to join a patrol. You can come along," he shrugged, padding over to Gooseflight, who was calling for Silentstorm and Fallingrain.

Hawkpaw purred and trotted after him. Halting beside him. "Where are we patroling?" He asked, his excitment building. He could do with a run in the forest. Stop it, You'r eight moons old and your acting like an excited kit! He thought, smoothing a hair on his chest then glanceing up to sniff the air arround him. "It's a nice day." He said.

Ivyheart smiled at Hawkpaw, his tail flickering. "The kittypet border. The last patrol caught some stray scents," he mewed, his lip curling up slightly, but he smiled cheerfully all the same.

[Noxly]

"Really? Cool!" He said excitedly. "I don't think I've seen many kitty-pets before." Hawkpaw tried to imagine what they might be like. Or what it could be like to live their life. Why would any cat want to when they can live in the forest? Smelling the fresh air and hunting? Some cats are just weird. He thought.

Holly soon picked up the scent of what smelt like... A mouse? A vole? She decided it probably smelt like a mouse. She padded towards where she smelt it and soon saw it. It had a bad leg and looked like it would would be slow enough to catch. She leaped in it's general direction and sailed towards it...

Ivyheart smiled at Hawkpaw, chuckling. "Well, they are clumsy at their hunting, terrible fighters, and think that clancats eat prey alive, and eat baby foxes. So, you will know when you see it," he grinned, padding alongside Gooseflight as he led the patrol out.

"Then they cant be hard to spot." Hawkpaw purred. A run through the forest was just what he needed right now. He bounded after Ivyheart and through the camp's entrance. Hawkpaw tasted the air, the smell of vole drifting from up ahed. A good fat one, just what the clan needed as the prey was becomeing scarce as the approaching leaf bare set in. "I'll be back, I think I smell a vole." He said, slinking through the undergrowth downwind of his prey. He soon saw it, snuffleing through the fallen leaves and roots. He sprung at it and killed it with a quick blow. Thank you, StarClan, for this piece of prey, he thought, silently thanking it for it's life. Suddenly, a scent hit him. The smell of MistClan. Fox dung! I diddn't realise I was this close to the border! He thought, sprinting back to the patrol with the vole dangleing from his mouth.

Heatherpaw yawned softly as she gazed up at the sky. She then glanced at Bronzepaw, and started to lick his back softly. I wondering when I'll be training. she thought as she slowly started to loose interest. No, I want to train! she thought as she just continued to lick Bronzepaw, sighing softly.

Goldenkit growled at what Skywatcher said. "What?! Are you a ghost or something and can "magically" fly across this mist?" she sarcasticly said as she sat down, muttering things to herself. We just want to train and go home! she thought, but relaxed herself with a long breath.

Paleblaze growled softly at Hazelheart, not making eye contact with her. "May we go hunting now Reedwhisker?" she asked curiously as she stood up, poking her tail on his shoulder.

Reedwhisper smiled at Hazelheart, wrapping his tail around his paws. "So, how are you?" he asked gently.

Hazelheart raised her head and pushed herself up to sitting position. Hiding a yawn, she turned her head to look at Reedwhisper, an unreadable look in her amber gaze. "I'm fine... Just tired" She spoke, her voice soft but sad.

Leopardkit nodded and watched her go. She turned to the other kits "I don't think we should follow her. She said find her cave, not follow her to her cave. Ayone have any ideas on how to find it?" Een though she had several ideas herself, she waited for Lightkit to say something. He usually had ideas, and GOldenkit did, too.

Silentstorm padded up to Gooseflight with a small smile. He inclined his head towar the forest, trying to ask where they would be patrolling.
