Tyler nodded before turning back towards the desk laying the piece of paper down to accompany the others. he was almost ready to sit down and get back to work when he remembered that Dawn still wanted to see him. the fact she was back was a sign she was in fact better. Walking out of the room he closed the door behind him and returned to the medical room, he walked in walking up to Dawns desk "feelin better?"

The girl was gone as fast as she had approached. She would have to go to the leader later on to check up on general information, but they were still far ahead from that. With the fight that occurred so recently the safe zone was still on it's feet both trying to recover and prepare for the future. it seemed that this was the end of small attacks, it was time for serious business. anything could happen now. Due to this they had to be a step ahead, keeping on high alert.

Just like that, each of them weren't fulfilling their assigned roles. that harsh reality was all left outside of those withered away doors. Leaning back slightly he looked towards the entrance blankly for a moment as he thought about this fact. He didn't want to leave, this felt like what he was looking for, peace. But this wasn't forever; the knowledge that as soon as he left those doors it would be back to the brutal life made him stressed on the inside. but that was a concern for later thankfully. looking towards leilani he spoke out "you deffinatly have it the best out of us. I mean our place isn't too bad, but after the attack we had to move and start all over... Man I'd do anything for electricity." He assumed that Morgan did not know about the attack just over a month ago, but if he wanted to know he could ask. He's never been in the safe zone so he didn't know exactly what was it like, but he knew from stories the other hunters would tell, or when they were making plans for attacks. the fact that they had water and some levels of electricity were out of his mind, so many years had passed living life without such luxuries they felt like a myth now.

Calypso saw, with surprise, Sky overcome the reluctance that seemed to prick at her when the question first came up. She briefly wondered whether she had actually wanted to share, or if it was a painful memory. The puzzlement was quickly driven away by mild surprise. The deputy of the hunters was once a member of the Safe Zone? Right now, that seemed practically impossible. The two groups seemed to loathe each other with a passion. She couldn't help but nod as the other girl mentioned how difficult a transition it was. She doubted it had been easy, and felt a little flicker of pity. Feeling immediate disgust and panic at that tiny flame of sympathy, she mentally stiffened and restricted the pitiful emotion from herself like oxygen to a flame. Only now, she wouldn't crumble without feelings. It was a harsh way of thinking, but this world was even harsher. More surprise came when Sky stated, rather confidently, that she would die for this group. She felt that strongly for people she barely knew? Callie wondered if she would ever feel that same way. Deciding to focus on another topic, she asked, "So how did you go from a Safe Zone member to the deputy of the hunters?"

Damion saw, with concealed curiosity, that the man's fingers were still on the bow. He was surprised a fight hadn't started already; this was, by far, the longest foreplay he's had with an enemy. Usually they attempted to cut him off mid-sentence, though he was always watching and ready for their lunge. He didn't mess with those who had guns unless he knew for certain that their reflexes were slower than his. That way, he could simply throw a knife at their gun hand, roll forward, and grab the gun for himself. It'd worked on several occasions, and he was beginning to like the tactic. Of course, a bow was different. He'd never seen one used by a survivor yet, and couldn't help but study it. It was slender and natural-looking, not like the shiny metal of guns. Still, a simple throw through the string would render it useless. He kept the thought in mind as the stranger responded to his taunt. A pleased smile grew on his face, malicious amusement. "No, but then again, I'm not the only one you'll face out here. No doubt you'll eventually run out," the relaxed boy pointed out, knowing full well that it would plant a little seed of doubt and strain. No one liked to remember their main weapon could outlive its usefulness. He didn't flinch when the arrow was aimed straight at his face, backing up the threat. His dark eyes challenged the stranger, almost like a silent chant goading him on. Do it, shoot me. He knew the risk he was playing, but part of him didn't really care. The world was just going to go downhill from here, and did he really want to be around for that? Part of him still wanted life though, so he compromised by simply being reckless sometimes, relying on others' emotions. Perhaps it would work. If not, he just had to hope his knives could hit in time.

"Thank you," Ryker responded as soon as he heard Rainey's offer. "I apologize if you were looking for entertainment, but I'm in search of a pair of glasses with an accurate prescription. I'm sure it'll be fun if we get to kill a few zombies along the way... But you may have to save my butt," he joked, adjusting the crossbow he had slung over his shoulder.

Maybe Ryker could spend this time getting to know his acquaintances better. Rainey was another hunter member— this much he knew. Plus, it'd be beneficial to make some friends on this terrain. He was quite tired of hanging around Evren all the time. Yes, Evren was his only family now, but something about that sunny boy often tired him.

On the inside she frowned a little when he said there might not be much fun, but on the outside she kept her gaze. She began walking with him and listened to what they were going to do. "Not much, really," She sighed, her life was pretty boring today.

Noticing they were all settling on the floor, Morgan situated himself in a more comfortable position. After Elliot had taken a few blueberries, he picked at the fruit himself, sparingly eating them. "Be glad you don't." Morgan said in response to Leilani's question. "If you can stand living in that Safe Zone, relish it. Out here, you don't really have friends, just allies." As he spoke, he realized the loneliness behind his statement. Not that it was really a lie; if you had friends, they usually died or they got you killed.

In the brief moments of silent standoff, Lupa studied the stranger. He showed no fear at having an arrow directed at him, and Lupa's words had even less of an effect. "Yeah, well, when it comes to that, I'll improvise." He said in reply to the man's pointed examination. "It's worked so far." Improvisation was what he did best. Plans were messy and rarely went—well... to plan. It meant relying on the trust that things wouldn't change, and Lupa had found out the hard way—one too many times—that things never stayed the same. The stranger was cocky, too cocky to not be confident in himself; he was probably expecting Lupa to attack him. Well, he didn't want to disappoint, did he? In a heartbeat, Lupa repositioned his target to the man's hand and let his arrow fly.

Not bothering to waste much time staying in the safezone doing nothing. Nathan once again left the walls in search of nothing in particular. If he managed to stumble across supplies or a new area then that would be a simple bonus. The forest was fairly silent except the sound or some would say the music of nature. A figure came into view that took Nathan by surprise as it wasn't a person or walker. But a dog taking a few steps closer he was able to see the german shepherd more clearly. Rarely did he ever stumble across a dog he assumed someone must have been nearby. By the shape the dog was in it clearly wasn't just some stray.

Sky found herself laughing slightly about the question she had been asking herself that for quite some time. There wasn't really a complete answer it was a multiple of things. "I never really thought I'd ever be here in all honesty. " Sky shrugged her shoulders glancing at the ground for a few moments thinking. Her days in the safezone were ones she remembered quite well she had made a few connections with some members but then things changed in one moment. Which in all reality she wouldn't change anything about it not after how far she's been able to come. "One day changed everything though and I ended up here. I don't think I'd ever want to go back I am needed here more than anything." Sky was fairly open when it came to her past and things about her. Which could both be bad and good for her depending on the situation.

Meg was a bit surprised the girl had helped her out of the snare. Standing up and dusting off her jeans Megan looked at her for a few seconds "Thanks...I guess I owe you one." Jordan decided to go walk Sage back home and roam around the SafeZone by herself. As she took the leash off Sage, she looked at him and told him, "Sorry bud, you're gonna have to stay here, you've already had your walk." Jordan began walking back outside, she wondered who she would run into next. She shrugged the thought away, and just continued walking.

Calypso relaxed a bit when she heard Sky's laugh, glad she wasn't becoming defensive as some did. It was a bit startling to hear her story, however vague it was, so easily and without any former bonding. She watched the other girl glance at the ground, her eyes far away from her physical body. As the deputy recalled her past, she wondered what life in the Safe Zone would be like. She imagined it to be orderly and strict, with clear ranks that go from the leader to someone lower, like a janitor. She didn't know what their facility looked like either, but something akin to a hospital took shape in her mind. She could practically smell the sanitized scent that she associated with the buildings and, in turn, her fearful dislike of them. Spotless white hallways that branch off from each other to mysterious rooms. They were locked iron doors in her vision that never seemed to open. The name Safe Zone just seemed so formidable compared to their little group simply trying to survive. Realizing her mind had drifted away like a raft in calm waters, she gave a slight shake of her head. "Thank goodness for that," the blonde girl gave a reassuring smile to Sky at her last statement. Since she'd been there, the deputy had been a pretty formidable, yet welcoming, figure and she was glad to have someone she trusted. Well, not exactly trusted with her life, but she was much more comfortable with her than anyone else so far.

Damion chuckled darkly at the man's response. Improvising was what everyone was pretty much doing. No one had elaborate, thought-out plans anymore. Maybe small ones, to try and survive, but that's exactly what everyone was doing. Surviving. What other goal was there? They couldn't hope to beat back the infected when they weren't even doing a good job at defending themselves. And even with groups to safely fall back into, they were fighting. He wanted to slap the group leaders, sighing while doing it. Even in their darkest hour yet, humans just could seem to completely unite. Drawn from his frustrated thoughts by the stranger's added statement, he grinned. "Key words: so far." This was pretty much the most exciting thing he's done this week- last week was teasing an older woman with the softest heart before killing her- and he was enjoying it. A bit sadistic, a bit cruel, but he figured that the world was even more so. His nearly-black eyes watched the swift movement the stranger made, slightly impressed at the speed. However, he had no time to dwell on that as an arrow flew to his hand. His knife flash as he repositioned himself, letting the arrow skim off the metal and hit the ground with a soft thud. He'd hated his father's excessive obsession that had him training for hours on end with knives, as they were in a pretty bad neighborhood and he wanted his son to defend his family with easy-to-access weapons, but he did admit that he loved the outcome now. Arching a dark brow at the fallen arrow, he slowly ran his gaze to meet the stranger's. "Well that was exciting. Care to say your name, so I don't have to continuously call you stranger in my head, stranger?"
