Abridged Jaden's VA is ShadyVox, best known for playing Button Mash in the MLP fandom. He's genuinely a really good rapper and singer. I tried to find other things that abridged Yusei's VA did but that's pretty much it. Shame, he's not that bad.

I think he did a remaster of a parody called "stronger" from the abridged movie, and it sounded amazing!!

Yes! In the abridged, Kaiba and Yami are my favorites! I think the episode I liked best was when they were dueling, and sang a parody of "we will rock you". Its because Yami was such a straight up savage and burned Kaiba many times lol

I've never watched the Toei anime, didn't know there was a season 0 until last year! And boy, was I surprised at what I saw when I searched it up

I haven't watched season 0 yet. I read some of the really early manga which gets really messed up at points, I'm kinda surprised that YGO got licensed by 4kids because from the beginning the series was not really meant to appeal to that crowd.

yeah me too honestly? and i’m salty because in japan it’s a teen & young adult franchise but here in the us it’s for kids.
plus for the most part, 4kids did a pretty poor job at dubbing it. (since they were marketing it as a children’s show and had to change a lot of things, even villain motives like marik’s) and they made it look childish even for a kid. but they did do a pretty good job with most of the characters voices, i must say.
