It had been a moon now since the flood had ripped through DuskClan seemingly taking with it many of their cats. Anyone who'd disappeared had just been assumed dead. Bayclaw had mourned for her clanmates but she'd started to have a more positive outlook on life in recent time. Having been reunited with one of her beloved sisters she'd made a complete turn around and seemed much more happier and stable. Currently she sat outside of the warrior's den with Brighteyes quietly waiting for patrols to be made, kits to be apprenticed, anything.

Brighteyes laid beside Bayclaw watching the clan slowly wake up, her paws itched to do something. She'd been trying her best to make up for lost time with her clan. Always helping out as best she could.

"That doesn't sound stupid at all." Ravenwind quickly reassured. With a friendly smile he stood up "That sounds good enough to me however. Why don't we get going?" he offered. "It'll be good for us to get out fresh and early." he said glancing towards the camp entrance then back at the other two warriors.

Brackenfall flicked one of his ears, this all sounded a little strange but.. whatever.. He shrugged and stood up "Works for me." he said trying to keep his voice neutral. It wasn't their fault he'd been a little depressed lately and he wasn't going to try to take it out on them.

Darkgaze padded out of the warrior's den his yellow gaze moving past Frostpetal for a moment and a look of sympathy crossed his face before he looked away. He understood heartache well. Though it may be in a slightly different way. Darkgaze had, had two cats now that he'd loved and lost. Which seemed to be the reason he never spoke to his assigned mate or anyone really in a more romantic sense.

Swiftleap felt the tips of his ears heat up "I believe I may have been the lucky one." he murmured to her. He was incredibly grateful to have been assigned to Briareyes. Back then he'd been a little more out going, very talkative. But he'd always had an eye on Briareyes and had always admired her. He'd been pretty excited when they were assigned and he could get to know her better. But he'd never expected to be able to have such a loving relationship. It reminded him of the stories of his parents. And he was grateful he could experience the same thing they had.

Hawktalon snorted slightly as Briarheart joined them though he couldn't mask the happiness that shone in his eyes when she came over. They'd seemingly lost everything and put the pieces back together and it drew him to her more and more every day. He was especially greatful Acornkit seemed to take to her too.

Riverbriar seemed to calm down just a bit, but only just a bit. "You should still get that checked out just in case." she said. "I'm alright, nothing wrong with me. I mean I felt like i'd never get warm for a few days after the flood but everything seems to have dried up.. for the most part at least." she said.

Spottedpaw ducked her head embarrassed at the compliment and gave him a small shy smile "I sure hope it's something nice." she said before she straightened up "Something nice.." she shook her head "I'm just more excited to be a warrior and finally get to that goal. I feel like i've waited forever." she said.

Acornkit squealed slightly "They don't??" she echoed before she took another bite of her meal and purred. "When i'm older i'll hunt for you guys!" she said puffing up her chest and purring louder. "Then no one will eat as good as you either." she said.

He laid his head back on his paws "My time is short Copperfang." he paused looking at the other tom quietly for a few moments "I've learned many things in this lifetime.. And i've raised this clan up again from the ground.. Though I didn't get to spend as much time with them as i'd like.. StarClan is calling me back to those i've lost along the way." he said. "DawnClan needs something else.. We've gathered this clan.. But now you've got to raise them to greatness Copperfang." he said trying his best to sound stern regardless of how tired he sounded. "Danger is coming.. DuskClan will become more of a threat to us before you know it." he said. "You must raise DawnClan to greatness and protect them at all costs. Their fate is in your paws now." he said.

Shadowstep dragged himself out of the warrior's den blinking slowly against the harsh morning light. His ears twitched, should he head out hunting? It was a warm newleaf day, Snowpetal would be hungry soon wouldn't she? She deserved something fresh didn't she?

Mistyfalls laid in the nursery her long fluffy tail curled around her two newly adopted kits. Mistyfalls had always wanted to be a mother and had been quick to jump at the opportunity to take in the orphaned kits when they were found. Hawkeye trotted into camp, his head held high, and prey in his maw. He continued until he reached the prey pile where he slowed his pace to a walk and dropped the prey into the pile. “My last meal in the nursery? Wow. I’ll admit I’m excited to hear that!” Silverkit meowed before eating the mouse. Then she wondered who would mentor her. To Silverkit this was the best news since the flood.

“Good morning Twistedpaw.” Smokepaw meowed. “Well I guess I just want to help the clan after the flood. But I’m glad everything is getting back to normal.” She added. “How are you doing?” She asked, with a friendly smile.

Blazepaw had looked up at the sky. It was a beautiful day and she thought of patrolling the boarders or going hunting. She couldn’t just sit in the sun like a lazy mouse brained cat. She stretched as she stood up and went to get a squirrel from the kill pile, wondering who might be interested in joining her on patrol.

Lightpaw padded out of her den eager to train after the flood. She wanted to be a strong warrior some day.

Hawkeye trotted into camp, his head held high, and prey in his maw. He continued until he reached the prey pile where he slowed his pace to a walk and dropped the prey into the pile. He quietly followed the scent before he saw the small creature who was unaware of Pinestrike. Pinestrike leapt into the air, and he grabbed the mouse with his claw before biting down on its neck. He picked up the mouse before looking behind him. He decided he’d stay hunting for awhile, so he buried the mouse before trotting off once again.
