Dante walked into his room, his windows slightly open letting a small breeze pass through. He smiled, his hair wet from his recent shower, and his lips stained with blood from his last meal. He licked them clean, the last of the blood wiped away showing no trace he ever had any. Not that it mattered, it wasn't like the older days when you needed to keep things a secret.

Scarlett walked around, wondering why the school would be in lock down. She often looked over her sholder, knowing she was a human in the night's world. She so far had never had any communications with a Vampire, Werewolve, Demon, etc. and she kind of wanted it to stay that way. She looked around, pretty much lost. She had been here for the last 2 years, but the school was still huge and it was hard for her and her human brain to learn her way.

Lara sat on her bed, knees hugged to her chest, trying to think of why she had decided to come here. Maybe in a hopeless attempt to blend in, but that was obviously not working. She decided that it was out of boredom, since she really had nothing better to do and now she was regretting it, the school was under lock down and she couldn't leave as she'd been hoping to. Standing, she went to the door and looked out, then, seeing no one in the hall, she stepped out, the door clicking shut behind her, and paced along the wall impatiently.

Tristan looked up at Scarlett recognizing the girl's familiar face from class, noticing she looked lost he decided to check if she needed help. "Excuse me? Are you alright?" he said in a gentle voice, tapping her shoulder lightly.

Scarlett jumped a little, a little afraid of who or what tapped her. Her heart started beating so loudly, she was sure he could hear it. She calmed herself, knowing she had seen him in a few of her classes. Her mouth opened to say something, but she could really think of anything it say. Finally, she some how managed to say,"Yeah..." She tired convincing herself that she was, and soon knew she was. It was ok, maybe lock down could be a good thing.

Tristan jumped at her reaction "Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you" he withdrew his hand completely from her shoulder, moving back just a little he smiled "You're Scarlett, right?"

Scarlett nodded and said,"Yep..." She semmed to calm down a little, and she studied him, trying to place him to the classes they might share. "Tristan?" It came out like a question, mostly because she wasn't completely sure, and didn't want to offend him or something. Her and her stupid short memory.

Tristan smiled and nodded "Yea!" he said cheerfully, glad someone had gotten his name right on the first try. He had never been much of a talkative person with much presence in his stay at the academy. It wasn't strange to him that his classmates even his teachers forgot his name every once in a while.
