Love and lost (Rvb AU 1x1 w/ kelsey.)

Meta watched wash from his hunched over position, unaware of the bone he'd gotten from his chewing, merely watching his movements for a moment until he settled before he returned to eating.

Wash side eyed Meta as he hid his bone and munched on it quietly behind a car that had been damaged a bit by Meta's thrashing.

Carolina had one hand firmly over her mouth to stifle her laughter, not wanting to give away Wash's secret steal. She tapped Alpha's shoulder, making sure he was seeing this.

"He acts like a wolf rather then a cat." Alpha mumbled in amusement, watching as meta finally finished off the meats before he moved to investigate north while the centuar was distracted.

"He acts like a puppy is what he acts like," Carolina snorted.

North and South were chatting quietly to themselves. South was facing Meta, and as he approached, she stiffened slightly. North didn't really notice until he could sense Meta looming over him.

Meta was right behind the male centuar, sniffing at one of his hooves before he attempted to carefully climb onto the centuar's back, but his weight would make it hecka obvious.

North squawked as Meta's weight pressed down on him. "Oof-- bigger than D, bigger than little feather boa Delta, buddy, off, off please!" He shook, trying not to turn around or touch Meta, for fear of agitating him. South huffed, going to push Meta. North grabbed her arm, stopping her from doing anything.

Meta managed to perch on north's back, squawking and flapping his wings when south had gone to push him off before north stopped her and thus settled down and merely adjusted his footing on north's back with a rumble.

North's legs shook, and when Meta simply shifted and remained, they gave out. He tried to land on his side so he wouldn't crush his legs. South shoved Meta away, angrily and nervously stompin her hooves. "North...! Go away you big dumbo, get off him."

When north fell, meta screeched in surprise and went sprawling to the floor before getting back up and shaking himself out, then south started shouting and stomping, spooking him a bit more and thus causing him to throw out his wings as wide as he could and release a very loud roar in an attempt to scare her away.

South's ears flattened and she scowled, hissing back. Wash bounded over, standing on his one hind leg and facing South as he growled slightly. She took the hint, helping North up and moving away. Wash settled back on all three paws, turned to face Meta, and looked up at him to see if his mate was happy or cross with him for interfering.
