Shuffling with final music requests everyone had decided to submit at the last minute without considering how she supposed to organise it. Why some of the freakshow members required five overtures she would never know. Surely contortions weren't that dramatic. She flicked through the pages looking for the start if her order. Being up at the crack of dawn had done little for her work load, and she still felt a bit like giving up and letting them sort themselves out. But it was her job she supposed.

She also needed to talk the ringleader about replacing some of the panels in the tents. The acoustic quality had really been decreased.

Amethyst had been up since before 4 o' clock, working. She was usually an early riser because she felt that it gave her a jump on the work she had to do before the show. Like always, Amethyst had checked the equipment before each show and rehearsal. But, during actual rehearsals she didn't have to do very much. She usually just sat back in the bleachers and watched the performers practice. Amethyst checked her watch, hoping to get back to her caravan so that she could make herself a bit of breakfast. Of course, she loved watching the rehearsals, but Amethyst had been working for a while and was starving. Amethyst turned her attention back to the ring as Connor finished his act. She was always impressed by the fire breather's act. The mechanic yawned as she checked her watch once again absentmindedly. Amethyst always hated sitting still or feeling useless; she always liked to be doing something. Maybe Eve needs some help? She thought hopefully. Amethyst went over to the sound booth," Good morning Evelyn" She said cheerfully, her Irish accent a little heavier than normal. " Need any help? "

Back stage, Webb prepared Jasper and Roan for their rehearsal. So far they'd done spectacularly, not straying and keeping exactly to their training. However, Roan had got her coat in a big of a mess. The great tiger lay in front of him as he crouched and vigorously ran a brush through her striped fur. Jasper watched, tail flicking, from a support beam above them. Gently he whispered to her words of encouragement, wishing her luck for the show ahead. He knew she didn't understand, but he believed that somehow it got though to her. "Jasper!" He called, and the ocelot leapt down. "Hiya boy." He greeted, quickly brushing him. Roan had to be kept on a lead because of 'safety reasons', though she was completely harmless, but Jasper was free to wander. He was only small, after all. Smaller than most dogs.

Levi looked around at everyone preparing for the day. He checked the sound equipment over again. He'd woken up earlier than usual today for no particular reason. He had a dream that it was a show day and he'd slept in while something busted in the equipment. He scrambled all around but the show was wrecked because he'd slept in. He'd woken up in a cold sweat beside some woman he didn't remember. His hangover caused a migraine to take place in his head, his vision blurred as he plugged and unplugged wires. He took a deep breath and sat down.

Amelia from her high perch noticed Levi stumbling in. She raised a brow and swung down her feet lightly hitting the ground as she sat next to him, "Long night Levi?" She smiled tucking her hair back behind her ears before taking the rest and tying it into a bun, "I do hope your head is in the game for the show tonight, we'd be nothing wit out our sounds" She leaned over the box upside down as she grinned, "But otherwise, I saw you sneaking away last night with that girl..did that work out?" She smirked, she may have seemed sweet and innocent to most but she heard and saw anything to do with this circus. She was the go to for gossip and drama.

Levi was almost startled by Amelia, he was very tired. "Oh, hehe. Well yes, it did work- ah! I mean n-no, it not? Everything in his head seemed jumbled up at the moment and he couldn't think straight. Well, not that he was straight... "Sorry Amelia, I think I drank too much last night. I can't even remember who that was last night. Oh, my head hurts. He hoped his speech wasn't slurred. And by the mention of the show tonight put Levi on edge, he hoped everything cleared up so he could function as a proper human being and operate the sound equip. He took a long drink of the glass of water he'd left for himself when he woke up to check on the equip. He looked back at Amelia,"So, how was your night? Better than mine I hope."

Once he had finished, Connor made sure that all of his batons had definitely been doused in water, to ensure that there wouldn't be any risks of an accidental fire - he always took care of this. Then, he went off, looking for someone to talk to and potentially annoy. He had the time, after all, and besides, he tended to get bored quite quickly when there wasn't really anything to do. He guessed that he could go and get something to eat, but not everyone had finished their rehearsal, and he hadn't yet seen Jack anyway. He decided to sit on an upturned box backstage, just waiting silently for some unsuspecting person to come by.

She smiled at him and patted his shoulder, she had always been fond of Levi, he was really laid back and super nice to Amelia. She laughed softly and tucked her fiery hair behind her ear, "Amy is fine Levi. Only the ringleader calls me Amelia." She listened to him trip over his words as she giggled behind a hand, "I have a hangover cure from France if you'd like. We call it fire Cider. Burns like everything going down but clears your head."At the mention of the girl she laughed, "I saw her this morning, her nam was Christine, sweet girl. Quite pretty as well." When he asked about her night her mind went back and she smiled, "I drank until about 3 a.m in town, came back woke up at 6 am to practice so it was nice." She braided her hair up and smiled, "I'm excited for the show tonight. I get to swing from a hoop finally and use a silk swing as well."

Lani rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she bid good morning to the elephants. Lola and Delila always seemed to listen better when Beatrix was around, but Lani tried her best to manage on her own with a good degree of success. It seemed that preparations for the show were well underway with every cast member scattered about, practicing acts or inspecting equipment. Of course, Lani had done this a few times before, but she somehow felt like she was the only one who didn't have a set routine. She simply followed the head tamer in whatever needed to be done. However, the aforementioned tamer was nowhere to be found at the moment. As she waited, Lani wandered around backstage. No matter how many times she'd seen it, watching the other members practice always made her stare in awe. Happening upon, if she remembered correctly, their resident fire breather sat on top of a box, Lani sat on the floor beside him, "Hey, Connor. Are you waiting for someone, too?"

Turning around, thoroughly disappointed that he hadn't had the chance to make the person who'd just joined him - Lani - jump, Connor considered several possible responses that he could give her question. Unable to pick just one, he decided to do a few of them. First, he laughed quietly, and answered, "Yes. Someone to sweep me off my feet. But we know that will probably not happen." He placed a hand behind him, and leaned back on it, tilting his head back, pressing the back of his other hand against his forehead, as if he was in distress. Then, he sat back up and looked towsrds Lani again. "I suppose, though..." he made his voice sound more 'elderly', "aren't we all waiting for someone, in the end?" Connor changed his voice back to its normal tone, as he gave his real answer. "Alright. Sort of - just waiting for someone to appear so that I can probably annoy them. And here you are!" He smiled brightly.
