Silvermist stifled a giggle as she watched Sparrowfall tumble into the river. He stomped out of the water, drenched. She smiled then walked over to him and gave his fur a few thorough licks. She had almost forgotten that his apprentice stood by her side. Silvermist was suddenly too lulled by his presence, captivated by the way the sun glinted off his eyes. Then, as the moment passed, she gave herself a shake. "Are you alright?" She asked, politely, "The water must be freezing!" She exclaimed, gazing back to the river!
Silvermist nudged Silverpaw, smirking playfully! They wouldn't let him off this one so easily!

Robincall strode into camp, his eyes gleaming with pride. In his jaw he carried a rabbit, and two mice. He was eager to impress everyone and so took his time in laying the prey down on the fresh kill pile. From the corner of his eye, he spotted Luckywish sitting and chomping on a rabbit. He took a mouse for himself and waltzed over to her. “Hello.” He nodded firmly at her and sat down beside Luckywish. “I caught 3 pieces of prey!” He boasted, his eyes glittering as he eagerly continued the story.

☞ASPENCLOUD stood up from his stretch, purring contentedly to himself for a moment at the way his tense muscles relaxed. The tall tom flicked his head towards Graymist as she spoke, nodding slowly as she suggested the river. "Well, I do suppose it's my own fault for letting you decide." The black warrior huffed, teasingly, rolling his glowing eyes in one dramatic swoop. As the pair began to head towards the entrance, Nightwhisper appeared and, in true Nightwhisper form, hissed a request at them. By now, Aspencloud was used to her harsh behavior and was unfazed by her coarseness. Honestly, the more cats hunting the merrier. He was willing to put aside his own opinions of her callous personality and accept the help they needed in order to provide for their clan. As Aspencloud began to nod his ascension, he was startled by her sudden stormy departure. The sleek tom was left bewildered for a moment, eyes wide as he blinked twice to let it sink in. "Ok then... I suppose it's just us?"

☞HAWKFROST flicked an ear in Brackenheart's direction, parting his jaws to confirm for the other warrior. All animosity gone between them for the moment, he turned his brilliant green eyes towards the other tom, nodding gravely. In an effort the protect his new apprentice from the potential threat of the situation, he nudged Lakepaw between himself and the other fairly large warrior. "I don't like this." The ginger tom made sure the mutter under his breath so that only Brackenheart could hear.

(Sorry I've got a bit of WB for Hawkfrost and Birchpaw because I have legitimately no idea what's going on lol)

Jaysong sighed, "Be careful, please." He lowered his head to study the wound. "hmph.." The tom's eyes met the ground. "I guess you'll just have to lean on me and we'll walk to camp together." Jaysong knew that the she-cat would probably complain about having to do it, but it was better than risking the wound opening any farther. With a flick of the tail, the tom went to stand beside Brightsky. "Let's hurry and get you back to camp. If that wound gets infected, who knows what will happen."

Graymist lowered her head, "I guess it's my fault she left." The she-cat flicked her tail, "Sorry." Quickly regaining her upbeat mood, the gray she-cat began to trot past Aspencloud. Careful not to get too far ahead of the tom, she kept a steady pace. Soon enough Graymist found herself amused by the passing clouds in the sky. Her pace slowed as her gaze locked onto the sky. "Clouds are so cool!" She chirped. "Until they bring stormy weather." A shiver rain down the she-cats spine. Storms are something that is always sure to frighten her.

Swiftstar narrowed her eyes. She was still a little unsure about the figure that stood before the patrol. Shaking her head she turned around. "Hawkfrost. Take the patrol and go on. We'll catch up." She nodded at the tom. "Smokepaw, Reedfeather, Roseflight, and I will stay here and figure out if this is really Fogtail." Swiftstar flicked her tail as she turned back to face Fogtail.

Silverpaw chuckled as she looked at Sparrowfall. Silvermist was right. She grinned mischievously. They would never let him live this one off. Silverpaw caught sight of Silvermist's expression, she noticed something strange about the she-cat. Not wanting to appear like she was staring, Silverpaw padded down the riverbank a little. She figured she could catch a couple fish while the two had their exchanges.

"Thanks!" He grinned setting down his mouse and taking a few bites. He gazed into her two different colour eyes, surprised at how beautiful they looked when the sun shone off them. "What have you been up to?" He said responded, puffing his chest out and soaking up the warm pools of light that filtered into camp. His green eye glinted with curiosity as he studied the she-cat beside him. Robincall wasn't exactly an expert on reading other cat's feelings.

Gotcha. he thought, narrowing his brows. He crept closer towards the vole. It looked up from it's food, and looked around. He paused, and the vole went back to eating. Cursedecho pounced, but missed the vole. Augh!! No! he thought, falling, and watching the vole scamper away. ❞

"I just went out hunting," Robincall gushed as he gulped down the last bite of mouse. "Maybe I'll get to tag along on a patrol later." He felt Luckywish move closer but thought nothing of it. Breathing deeply in, he spread himself out further and curled his paws around his chest. The morning light flooding into camp grew stronger and Robincall sat comfortably enjoying the rays. Leisurely, he positioned himself nearer to Luckywish and without thinking he began sharing tongues.

Robincall felt Luckywish tense up but he kept grooming her fur. Growing up without parents he had always felt closer to his clan mates and seen them as family. After a while he stopped, glanced at her, tilted his head and admired the way the sun shone on her fur. Then reluctantly he laid his head on his feet and closed his eyes.
