Day 8 (Evening)/Guzore/20/Where: Dalgar's Tower/With: Zeph, Ferondir, Cassie, Shia, and Sapphire

Guzore put his drums and symbols down and leaned against a wall, breathing heavily from exhaustion.
Zeph, is that... you? The real you? He asked, panting. Oh brother, I'm so tired... It feels like we've been in this tower for 516 days...
*RUMBLE*
The tower quacked violently as sparks of magic could be seen beaming out from the top through the windows of the room.
Guzore looked towards the door leading to the top and realized that the red force field that most of the others probably forgot was there was now gone.
Oh, here we go. Guzore grunted as he got back up on his feet and ran to the door. Hurry guys,
let's go!

Day 8 (Evening)/Veneficus/156/Where: Dalgar's Tower (Roof)/With: Lord Dalgar

The battle continued between Veneficus and Dalgar, with neither one of them relenting.
Why do you continue to fight for these pigs, you imbecile? Dalgar barked. After all these years, you still haven't learned that there's a time when you need to quit!
Dalgar kicked Veneficus back and clenched his fist, causing dark crystal shard to pummel Veneficus from above.
Oh, I knew when to quit as soon as you banished me from these lands. Veneficus muttered after the crystal rain ended. He planted his staff on the ground and leaned against it as he got back up to his feet. However, it wasn't until recently that I learned there are some things in this world that you just can't give up on.
On the other side of the tower, between Veneficus and Dalgar, Zephyrus came up from below with the others close behind him. Dalgar turned his charged staff towards Zeph and sported a malevolent grin towards Veneficus.
Oh, you mean like them? He asked as he fired a narrow red beam towards Zeph. Veneficus dropped his staff and promptly leaped in front of the others.
Bzzt!
...
Thud.
Veneficus' body fell to the ground.

Experiencing a new-found, but gladly welcomed, determination, Zeph led the group up the tower onto the roof- Following the source of the rumblings.
His mind and body felt electrified and renewed, like he could do anything- like he could help anyone.
That's what he wanted to believe at least, but the flashes of resurfacing memories every few seconds might of indicated otherwise.
Sooner than expected, Zeph emerged on the roof top- confronted by yet another villain encounter.
Dalgar aimed his staff quickly at Zeph, grinning at Veneficus.
Veneficus.
He saw it all along, didn't he? That master mage, he had to have felt something was off?
In that moment, Zeph realized what he could be- what he wanted.
He wanted to help people, create things, and understand magic. To make sure people couldn't replicate the same mistakes he made.
He wants to better himself but, more than that, he wants to help the world. It's his responsibility as a magician to. Not out of necessity, but out of ability.
Zeph looked up, filled with passion and a courage and, even though Dalgar's staff was charging up a spell, ready to fire it at him, he stood tall. Ready to take on the world.
BZZT! The energy beam traveled right towards Zeph, faster than he imagined.
With an air of hope, he waved his hand to blink out of the way of the beam- but the magic he thought he was summoning didn't come.
Moments before impact, at an almost impossibly fast speed, Veneficus appeared in between Zeph and the beam.
--
Zephyrus watched as Veneficus fell to the ground. It couldn't have been longer than a few seconds. But it felt like a minute had passed and no one did anything.
Zeph quickly got down on the ground next to Veneficus, in disbelief that he even managed to make it infront of them in time.
Veneficus? Veneficus? Veneficus you can't be hurt. You're-You're going to be fine, right? He said, not quite listening to himself or anyone else.
He motioned his hand in a circular formation of Veneficus, but the magic he was attempting to bring forth wasn't seeming to materialize.
What's going on? Are my magic circuits still regenerating?
ɖօռռɛʐ-ʟʊɨ un autre changement comme moi He tried speaking a spell, but really there wasn't any more of an effect than the last time.
He could feel the magic inside him, but it wasn't bending the way it used to.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Journeyman Ferondir of Mira ~ A tower ~ Present Time

As he lay there, several things happened at once.
First, Shia's song reversed. From betrayal to loyalty, though the notes of the necessity of survival stayed throughout.
Second, the chaos grew, drowning out all the orderly songs of his comrades.
Third, Ferondir felt a familiar song touch his own. Zeph.
Zeph, dear brother, I knew you could do it.
Ferondir's own soul sang in triumph, as the chaotic melody was drowned out by a divine symphony reflecting Ferondir's own feelings; Healing, goodness, and love.
His own wounds were closing up. Evidence of Shia's betrayal fading to a scar, and he opened his eyes.
As these melodious notes washed over him, the chaos fell abruptly, and he could hear his friend's souls again.
Especially, Zeph's. No more was the dark and chaotic jazz dampening his bright song.
Except, this song was different. Unstable, charged, unyielding.
He sat up shakily and looked.
No sooner had he raised his head to see Zeph covered in black blood, then the air exploded with white, pure, blinding light.
Ferondir was knocked back to the ground and for a moment, all seemed to vanish.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Outside the Tower

As the world returned, he was back outside the tower, staring at the door they'd just crossed through.
That cursed doorframe.
He felt renewed.
Had that all really happened?
He glanced around. Zeph was happy, clean, and alive. Ferondir froze. Zeph hadn't been this free for years. Not since their childhood. Ferondir smiled, pride and joy filling his heart. Zeph had won this battle. Though Ferondir felt he had helped a little.

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Dalgar's Tower, Roof

Ferondir followed his friend up to the top, glancing back at Shia with a gentle smile, and knowing she'd returned to them.
He'd have to congratulate her after all this was over.
She'd outsmarted an ancient shade. Not bad for a days work.
The moment they emerged, he saw two figures atop the tower, both of the same race. One, the enemy, and the other, one of his Masters, Veneficus.
He'd never seen his face before, and now he knew why. Not many in that stuffy and ridged town would accept his kind no matter how they proved themselves.
Ferondir, upon learning of his true origins, felt no different about him. He was still one of the most accomplished wizards of the time. Proven, time and time again, to be a force for good.
He only had an instant to ponder this, however, as the enemy said something and aimed a lethal spell at Zeph.
It was too fast. Zeph hadn't seen it. Ferondir didn't have time to divert it either.
No. What is this cruelty of fate, that I would gain my brother returned, only to see him perish?
There was a dull sound of a body, and a staff clattered to the ground, but Zeph's soul still sang. It was the master who had fallen.
Ferondir watched as Zeph knelt to meet his savior.
Though a master and mentor had gone, the threat lingered.
Forcing the shock and morning to the back of his mind, he drew his own staff up and held it forward.
A magical ward, pulsing red, like a shield, expanded from the jewel in the tip, protecting all who had emerged from the tower from magical attack.
"Zeph, you can't help him. He's gone," he hissed to his friend. They were still in danger.
Still staring at the man who had tried to strike Zeph down, he demanded, "Who are you?"
Confusion and frustration came from Zeph. Something else was wrong. He glanced down. Zeph seemed unable to weave a spell.
Perhaps the event had left him drained.
Ferondir's eyes lighted on the lost staff.
Perhaps the magic the darkness had given him wasn't working now that the demon was gone.
"Zephyrus, try his staff."

Day 8 (Evening)/Veneficus/156/Where: Dalgar's Tower (Roof)/With: Zeph, Ferondir, Cassie, Guzore, Sapphire, Shia, and Lord Dalgar

Veneficus arched his head up and coughed with a weak but coarse breath. He looked down at the chartreuse blood on his chest, reminding him once again of how alien he was to these Hylians. He groaned as he lifted his arm up to grab hold of his mask and pulled it off. He sat back against the wall of the roof, breathing heavily.

Image

Zephyrus... Veneficus muttered as he turned to face the young wizard. I don't doubt that you know who I really am now...
He coughed once again, feeling his body growing weaker by the second.
It's a shame... that you had to find out under such grim circumstances... He confessed. I'm sure you understand why I couldn't... why it had to be a secret. You're an extremely talented wizard, after all.
The wind howled in the distance as the ominous sound of the Bordix army marching echoed from the desert.
...Which is why I believe in the prophecy... why I believe that you can stop Dalgar.
As he said that, the roof of the tower began to shake. Dalgar stood at the altar with the dragon skull and other ingredients as they finished merging into one entity - the Fused Shadow.
It looks like it's too late for your little friends to save you now. Dalgar declared as he began to grin malevolently. He reached out and touched the Fused Shadow, causing a bright flash to obscure the middle of the roof.
Veneficus turned to look up at the others.
To the forces of darkness Hyrule will fall... He quoted from the prophecy. Warriors of 12 to answer the call... The sages of 6 The goddess’ enthrall... He looked at the three swords Zeph, Ferondir, and Cassie held in their hands. Power, Courage, Wisdom, divines above all... As Veneficus spoke those words, light began to radiate from each of the swords as the mark of the Triforce appeared on their hands. Veneficus managed to sport a weak smile through the pain as he coughed once more.
You are the heroes chosen by the Goddesses themselves to defeat the Bordix... Veneficus instructed with his last breath. I... believe in you.

"...Well...that just happened." Cassie stood before the withering body of Veneficus. So much had just happened in such a short amount of time, but it seemed more like days. Months. Possibly a year. Who knows. In a world such as this, anything is possible. She stared down at Veneficus, she didn't know what to say or how to even react. She was on the verge of tears, but for some reason she could not cry. She felt like she had no reason to be a part of this group. There was no reason for her to be holding this sword that was so important to the cause. Suddenly, the sword began to glow a bright green. As it glowed, a swirl of color appeared on her hand as the triforce symbol arose from her skin. "..wow..." Cassie stated in awe. The triforce then shone a bright light. Cassie winced away from her hand. She felt as though she was about to go blind. The light had shown so brightly in her eyes that when she looked up again, everything seemed brand new. Almost like everything had already happened, but it appeared brand new. She looked around herself. At the people she was on this journey with. She remembered being with Guzore, and Della, and Jack, but when she made her way to Zepherus..."...Zeph?...ZEPHYRUS!" Cassie's memories started to flood back. She remembered everything up until now. Her childhood, this journey, everything had suddenly mixed itself together into understanding. "ZEPHYRUS!!!" Cassie yelled his name at him as tears streamed down her face. She ran towards him and gave him a huge hug and she finally was able to remember who he was, and more importantly, who she was.

Journeyman Ferondir of Mira ~ Dalgar's Tower, Roof

As the master spoke, Ferondir held the ward, but when he heard him mention the swords, he switched his staff to his clawed hook and drew his blade.
Was it really his? Would it do what Zeph's had done? Would it consume him if he used it?
One thing was clear. He had the courage to fight, he had the wisdom to know the odds were awfully against them, but if he had the power to protect his comrades... would he then be able to defeat the power that would end Hyrule?
He'd had to switch the staff to his hook. Awkward.
Maybe he should switch to a wand or stele once this was over if he survived. He'd be able to tuck that into his pocket in situations like this.
He glanced back, wishing he'd taught Shia how to use a staff.
He held the blade up again at the ready, and glanced at Cassie and Zeph.
His focus shifted to the enemy, the threat. Defeat the Bordix. "Din, Nayru, Farore, golden goddesses three, if this is your bidding, protect us." He muttered.

Day 8 (Evening)/Lord Dalgar/216/Where: Dalgar's Tower (Roof)/With: The Explorers of Hyrule

Dalgar laughed malevolently with the Death rod in his hand.
Oh, how ironic... The violet-skinned sorcerer remarked. Who would've guessed that dear Vengar would fall to a weapon of his own creation?
Dalgar began to approach the team of heroes standing before him.
A weapon crafted to end life instantly used to assassinate the former leader of the Bordix tribe...
Dalgar's staff began to charge up once again as red electricity sparked from the tip.
The very same weapon that I used to kill the King of Hyrule!
BZZT!
A narrow red beam of dark energy shot out of the staff as Dalgar aimed it at Zephyrus. Time seemed to momentarily slow down as the burst of energy inched closer and closer to the blue eyed silver-haired boy.
SPZzzt!
Before the shot could hit Zeph, a transparent force field with an ancient crest on it dispelled the blast.
That crest... Ferondir stammered in awe. It's the symbol of the Goddess Hylia!
Dalgar's grin of malice turned into a disturbed frown.
No, that's impossible... The dark lord grumbled. He raised up his staff and shot another bolt of energy from it, this time at Cassie.
BZZT!
SPZzzt!
Once again, the beam dispersed.
What's happening?? Cassie asked.
The prophecy... Zeph said, observing the glowing Triforce of Wisdom on his hand.
BZZT!
SPZzzt!
It's the Goddesses' protection! Zeph exclaimed.
That must mean we're immune to the effects of the Death Rod? Ferondir added.
BZZT!
SPZzzt!
Dalgar threw the staff at the ground in anger.
Gah! What a waste! He blurted, breathing heavily. Suddenly, there was a bright flash of light behind him where the dragon skull was being enchanted. He smiled once again.
This isn't over, little wizards. Dalgar threatened as he stepped backwards towards the orb of energy in the center of the tower. In fact, I think it may just be the beginning of something bigger than you could ever imagine.
The malevolent Bordix reached an arm into the green sphere and laughed as his form began to mold and shift into one of darkness.

The Explorers of Hyrule trembled at Dalgar's new form.
Is that...
The fused shadow?
The dark lord Dalgar now towered above the heroes, approximately 30 feet tall. His golden Bordix blood connected the fragments of shadow armor that he now embodied.
THE TRIFORCE WILL SOON BE MINE.
Zeph, Ferondir, and Cassie readied their swords as Guzore, Sapphire, and Shia pulled out their own weapons.
Time to save Hyrule. Cassie declared.
Hey guys, I can't decide, should I use my golden sword or my hammer that Veneficus got me? Guzore asked. Like, I'm pretty used to the sword, but I wasn't sure if this was one of those moments where I should try the hammer or not... 'Cuz like... I don't wanna find out I'm not that good at it after I start... Then again, you three are probably gonna be doing the big work, so... yeah, you know what? Bad timing for the question, my bad.
After a brief pause, everyone charged at the beast and began attacking.
(TIME TO GO OLD SCHOOL ON THIS)
Sapphire ran towards Dalgar and threw her spear into his leg. [0.15 damage]
Shia pulled out several knives and tossed them up into his abdomen. [0.25 damage]
Guzore smashed his hammer into the side of his leg. [0.2 damage]
Dalgar kicked Guzore back, knocking him into Sapphire. [2 damage each]
Cassie leaped up and thrusted the Sword of Courage into one of Dalgar's arms. [3 damage]
Dalgar swiped one of his swords across the ground, hitting Shia, Sapphire, and Zeph. [2.5 damage each]
Ferondir flanked him from the side with the Sword of Power. [3 damage]
Zeph casted an illusion spell, slipping behind Dalgar to hit him in the back while a projection of him stood in front. [3 damage]
Dalgar's eyes glowed bright red as he raised one of his swords up to the sky. Red lightning struck down onto the sword and surged through his body, causing the cracks and damage inflicted on him to heal.
Yeah, I think I'm regretting the hammer decision now. Guzore admitted.
Dang it! At this rate, we won't be able to make any progress! Zeph complained.
We just have to keep trying! Cassie encouraged.
The heroes persisted in trying to damage the dark beast.
Side swipe!
Backslash!
Up tilt!
Spin attack!
Side Sma-OOH!
Guzore cried in pain as Dalgar smashed him in between two of his swords. Guzore dropped his golden sword, struggling to stay on his feet.
Wow... That's a big chonkus... Guzore mumbled before passing out on the ground. Dalgar laughed and raised a sword up to heal again.
Uh... guys, we're a fighter down! Sapphire warned.
We've got to find a method of doing more damage at once so he doesn't have time to heal again! Ferondir replied.
Zeph groaned upon seeing the lightning strike Dalgar's sword. He looked down, pulled up his sleeve, and looked at his wrist. It'd been awhile since he last shocked himself, but the scars were still there.
Why can't I leave a mark on him? He asked himself. If the Triforce is really in these swords, then we should be doing more than enough damage...
Zeph turned his wrist over and saw the glowing Triforce on the other side of his hand. The bottom left triangle was glowing more than the others.
Wait a minute... Zeph thought to himself. He looked at Ferondir and Cassie's hands and saw the other two triangles glowing on theirs. Ferondir! Do you remember what we did at Gregal's mansion?
Ferondir turned to look at Zeph, trying to remember what had happened days earlier. Are you talking about switching bodies or the campfire? Ferondir replied.
No, I mean- Zeph paused. Look, I think the Triforce can only defeat Dalgar if all the pieces are together, and each of us has a piece.
Ferondir's eyes widened as he realized what Zeph was suggesting.
The individual power of the swords is dependent on them being separated; that's why Veneficus made them that way. He argued. It'd be counterproductive to-
SLAM!
Dalgar's sword crashed down on the ground in between Zeph and Ferondir.
Ferondir, we don't have time for this! Zeph exclaimed.
The melding of souls... it always leaves traces of both in the other. Messy, messy magic. Ferondir warned. I don't think we should do it again.
Dang it Ferondir, why do you always-
SWIPE!
Dalgar's sword rapidly dragged along the rooftop, giving Zeph barely enough time to jump over it. The bricks beneath him began to fall as a hole developed.
You've gotta trust me, Ferondir! Zeph insisted. Aaugh!
The bricks beneath Zeph gave in.
A familiar right hand reached down and grabbed his arm before he could fall all the way in.
Ferondir! Zeph rejoiced. Ferondir looked into Zeph's eyes and saw someone he had nearly forgotten. He saw his best friend from childhood. He felt a particular memory surge into his mind.
Zeph, I can't make it!
An 8-year old Ferondir stood on the edge of a cliff staring at a broken bridge.
Don't worry, it's gonna be fine! Tiny Zeph insisted. Just jump, I have an idea!
Are you crazy? There's no way I can get to your side without the bridge, that was the only way-
Ferondir! Zeph interjected. You've gotta trust me.
The blue-haired boy took a deep breath and let it out. His best friend was reckless at times, and more often than not, he had gotten them into trouble. At that moment, however, the look he saw in Zeph's eyes was something different. He felt a sense of familiarity and safety with him, even though he couldn't understand why. Ferondir gulped and backed up a bit from the cliff.
Okay... I'm gonna do it. Ferondir told himself Three... two...
Ferondir began running towards the cliff.
One!
The blue-haired boy leaped off of the cliff into the air.
Magio Magnesis! Zeph exclaimed, holding a book in one hand and a stele in the other. Suddenly, Ferondir's belt buckle, hook, and everything metallic in his bag began glowing with a pink aura around them. Before there was time to fall, Ferondir felt himself being pulled towards Zeph onto the other cliffside.
Whoa-AH!
*CRASH*
Ferondir collided with Zeph, causing him to fall backwards.
I... I made it! Ferondir stuttered in amazement. Haha! Magnesis, of course!
Ferondir looked down and processed that he had just crashed into his best friend.
Ohmygosh, are you oka-
Before Ferondir could finish asking, Zeph burst into laughter.

Ferondir snapped back into reality as bricks continued to fall from the roof. He looked at Zeph in the eyes and saw that same sense of familiarity and safety.
Alright. Ferondir said. I trust you.
Zeph smiled, but before he could get back up, the roof caved in beneath Ferondir as well, causing both of them to fall through.
AAAAAAHHHH!!
...
*thud*
And so, Zephyrus and Ferondir fell to their death. That's the end of the story. Hope you enjoyed it, cuz there's nothing else after this. This is the fallen Hero timeline, you know, the one with A Link to the Past and half the games are a dream? By the way, this was all a dream too. Remember in the beginning where Zeph sat by the lake against the tree? He's still there right now, napping. His best friend Ferondir isn't coming to wake him up though, because he isn't real. Zeph dreamed him up. Cassie too. In fact, Zeph doesn't have any friends. Once he wakes up, he'll return to his sad and lonely friend-less life. How sad.

Image

No, not really.
Zeph and Ferondir hit the floor of the room directly below the roof and realized that they had only fallen about ten feet.
Oh yeah, I kind of forgot we were right above another room. Zeph admitted.
Cassie ran down the stairs to join Zeph and Ferondir.
Hey, so how do we do this? She asked, sword in hand.
With another soul, it'll be a bit different. Ferondir instructed as he pulled out a spellbook. We'll need a conductor to make sure we all end up in one body.
Zeph looked at the swords the three of them had and held his up. Will these work?
*THUD*
The building shook as more rubble fell from the hole in the ceiling.
That should do. Ferondir replied. We better hurry up and do it now. Sapphire and Shia won't be able to stall that thing for long.
The three heroes readied their swords as Ferondir flipped to the right page in his book.
Three...
Two...
One.
Meum illi anima.
As the group read the spell, Cassie and Ferondir touched Zeph's sword with theirs, causing streams of blue light to surge through their bodies into the swords. All at once, the three swords exploded in a burst of white light and re-materialized into one golden sword with the Triforce on it's hilt and the wings of the Goddess crest branching out. Ferondir and Cassie's bodies fell to the floor, limp.

A familiar hum reverberated through Zeph's ears. He felt a sense of calm amidst the chaos - like the inside of a warm log cabin in a fierce winter storm. The thunder no longer intimidated him. He was the thunder. They were the thunder.
Is that my body?
Her soul smells nice.
Are these my thoughts?
Are these our thoughts?
The vision of the body Cassie, Zeph, and Ferondir were now inhabiting began to clear up as it regained it's posture.
It's crowed in here.
Wait, who thought that?
I feel like we all did.
*THUD*
AAAAHH!! A familiar scream was heard from above.
Sapphire!! The trio exclaimed.
Zeph+ leaped up into the air, small streaks of electricity left behind where he once stood. He flew up through the hole and into the battle once again. Shia was tending to Sapphire's wounds near the edge of the arena.
WELL WELL WELL, LOOK WHO'S BACK. Dalgar remarked. WHERE ARE YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS?
Zeph+'s grip on the Triforce sword tightened.
Enough games. It's time to end this. He insisted.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB7GnrrvCrw
Dalgar held all four of his swords in the air, causing a bolt of red lightning to strike each of them.
Zeph+ held his sword in one hand and began charging a ball of blue fire in the other.
I can't screw up this time. Zeph thought to himself.
He leaped forwards towards one of Dalgar's arms and swung upwards vertically, cutting it off at the shoulder.
I can't lose.
Zeph+ hurled several balls of fire at the dark lord's feet before swiping at another arm.
You won't.
He landed on one of the large golden swords and jumped up to the shoulder, swinging at the arm holding it.
We won't.
He ran across the back of Dalgar's neck and slashed downwards on the last arm, jumping off of his shoulder.
Because with you at my side,
Zeph+ turned around and gripped the sword with both hands as he fell towards Dalgar again, ready to strike the chest.
I know that I've already won.
Shhhunk!
Dalgar's armor began to crack as beams of light seeped out from the edges. He fell to his knees as energy continued to escape and a blindingly bright light shone from his chest.

Zeph opened his eyes. He was laying on a small blue platform by himself in a strange black abyss. He couldn't feel Ferondir and Cassie's souls with him anymore.
Ugh... That's gonna hurt in the morning. He groaned as he rubbed his head. Ferondir? ...Cassie?
Zeph stood up and saw a larger blue center platform with six colored pedestals on it. Dalgar kneeled in the center, with the Fused Shadow in four broken pieces in front of him.
Zephyrus!
Zeph's attention shifted as he heard his full name being called. Cassie was standing on a pillar like Zeph's in the distance. Beyond hers were four other platforms surrounding the larger center one that Dalgar was on. Ferondir, Guzore, Sapphire, and Shia stood on them. Suddenly, four large creatures appearing to be made of light descended from above, all facing Dalgar.

We are the four light spirits that protect Hyrule at the behest of the gods.
Dalgar stared at the creatures in shock, unable to speak.
Dalgar. You and your army of interlopers have created a forbidden power of darkness. It is the will of the goddesses that we lock away this Fused Shadow...
The pieces of the Fused Shadow suddenly dematerialized into tiny black particles and rose upwards.
But- No, wait! This can't-
As for your fate, you and your kind shall be banished to the Twilight Realm for your transgressions...
What!? No, you can't do that! Dalgar demanded. His body began dissipating into the same black particles as the Fused Shadow as he struggled.
No! N̷͠O̕͏̛!!̶̵̡

After the last of the black particles disappeared, six bridges of light appeared, connecting each platform to the main central one.
O heroes chosen by the gods... Step forth.

The six adventurers looked at each other with uncertainty before walking forward.
Heroes chosen by the gods, huh? Guzore commented. I've got a feeling this talk is gonna be different than what Dalgar got.
Everyone made their way to the central platform and stood on the colored pedestals. Above them, the Triforce glowed with radiant light in all it's glory.
Explorers of Hyrule... you have journeyed far throughout the land, overcome numerous tribulations, and fulfilled the Prophecy of Twelve.
Wait, like just the six of us or the others too? Guzore asked. Also, did it ever matter which twelve did it, 'cuz we kinda swapped members a lot and the whole thing just got really confusing and hard to keep track of after the mansion.
Suddenly, the colored pedestals that everyone was standing on began to glow.
The six of you have been chosen to seal the Triforce in the Sacred Realm, away from the wicked... You will become Sages... When evil rules all, an awakening voice from the Sacred Realm will call you all to protect Hyrule.
The golden pedestal glowed brighter.
Cassandra, the Sage of Light...
The emerald pedestal glowed brighter.
Ferondir, the Sage of Forest...
The crimson pedestal glowed brighter.
Guzore, the Sage of Fire...
The cobalt pedestal glowed brighter.
Sapphire, the Sage of Water...
The bronze pedestal glowed brighter.
Shialia, the Sage of Spirit...
The violet pedestal glowed brighter.
And Zephyrus, the Sage of Darkness...
The Triforce began to lower down over the center of the platform.
It is now time for you to seal away the Triforce so that the prophecy can be fulfilled.
Ferondir looked at Zephyrus.
Hey. He said. You were right. Going on this adventure was a pretty good idea.
Heh, you're telling me. Zeph chuckled. I'm... sorry about the whole demon thing... and stuff.
Well, we can't all be perfect. Cassie teased.
Sometimes you've just gotta stab something. Shia added.
But when you're surrounded by friends, it gets easier. Sapphire began.
And you'll eventually learn how to roll with the punches. Guzore punned.

And with that, the sages finally completed their adventure. A bitter ghost had finally found solace, justice was brought to a crew of bloodthirsty pirates, a dragon of darkness' reign of terror was put to an end, and the Kingdom of Hyrule was saved from destruction, all thanks to the Explorers of Hyrule.
