She decided to walk a lap around the camp. She looked around, making sure no one was nearby and continued walking. Cursed and Briar seem to get along well, glad he has a best friend. I also hope he doesn't mind about Robincall. She thought, walking along the outside of camp.❞

☞ASPENCLOUD emerged from the shadows of the thick pine forest, his amber eyes practically glowing in the murky darkness. The lanky, almost all black tom padded softly along the needle covered forest floor, his presence almost undetectable as he wove through the trees. Without an apprentice to train, the seasoned warrior found purpose in completing solo hunting trips; the clan could never have enough food. Pausing for just a moment, the tom parted his jaws, revealing a set of sharp teeth. Orienting himself, Aspencloud returned to the suitable pile of prey he collected and proceeded to carry what he could back to camp, resolving to make a second trip for the last two pieces. The warrior trotted briskly out of the forest, reaching the camp entrance from the east. Quickly dropping the first three pieces of prey, he returned again with the last two, a mouse and a vole which had given him a particular bit of trouble. Satisfied with his performance, Aspencloud settled onto his haunches, grooming himself at the side of th camp.

"miss briar? what am i, a kittypet?" briarflight joked, smiling goofily in return before barreling off after
the tom with long strides as she ran. the molly quickly gained speed and eventually overtook her friend,
glancing back with a grin of pure joy.

briarfloght gradually found herself gasping for breath and although she wouldn't admit it, was secretly
glad that he had to take a breather. panting, she slowed to a walk and flopped down at cursedecho's

Nightwhisper swayed her tail as she padded over tot he freshkill pile. She picked out a rather nice rabbit and ate it throwing the corpse away. She had a slight scowl on her face at the bitter taste of the meat, she looked around seeing some cats with the clan's leader at the side probably confronting a probably idiotic rouge who dared stepped into their territory, she also saw some others by the riverbank and some by the middle of camp, she flicked her ears and wandered off.

Lakepaw looked at birchpaw and hawkfrost and noticed what she just said was ignorant. She lowered her ears in shame but looked up at hawkfrost as he spoke to her. She nodded in understanding, she should've known all along. In her kit days, she would watch the clan cats go on with their days while dazed. She flicked her ears once more as she grew silent and watched. There was tension growing between Hawkfrost and BrackenHeart as she noted through their expressions, then she looked at birchpaw, she was calmed at first and then-.

She abruptly stopped observing the cats around her as she saw smokepaw scurry by in such hurry. What is happenin-
She then looked at the yowl from swiftstar and the strange cat. So the foul scent was from him?
She listened as Smokepaw interrupted in hurry, the name left with curios but bitter aftertaste.
...Fogtail? isn't he smokepaw's brother?
