Username: GorGor
Name: Gemi Hartono
Image of your character:
And a picture with a human for scale!Species: Howler
Animal: Komodo Dragon
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Personality: Gemi can come off as ruthless, and cold, even to his own brethren, but it's a personality trait he's developed from years of fighting, hunting, and watching his people scrape by to survive. He can come off as being hard on some of his peers, especially younger members of the tribe, but this is more an act of "tough love" than legitamite disdain of those around him. As quickly as he may be to tear someone down for something he see's as foolish, he will just as quickly build them back up. He knows every member of the tribe is as valuable as the next, and only together can they truly survive this war. He loves his people, and is fiercely loyal to the Alpha Male and Female, and would readily die for them, or any of his brethen, if he knew it would promise them a better tomorrow.
Description: Like most Hunters, Gemi seems to be of average size and build, physical attributes that seems to be a necessity of their rank, needing the physcial prowess to take down their prey. Whether they be Quell, Human, or actual food. Even more so, like so many of his kind, his body bears the burden of the Howler's war with the Quell. His torso, especially seeming to hold a heavy amount of scarring. These damages carry over into his Dragon form as well, seeing as how the beast has no furr to hide his wounds. The only scarring on his body that appears to have been voluntary are three equally spaced dots on his upper right pectoral, all in a horizontal line. He's expressed that these markings are suppose to represent the constillation of Orion's belt, "The ultimate Hunter, immortalized in the very heavens above us. What we all strive to be."
Rank( If Quell or Howler): Hunter
Family, Crush, relationships etc.: Any living relatives of Gemi are long gone, as far as he knows. He's never apprised much information on his relatives, but one can easily assume they mostly met their end at the hands of the Quell.
Weapon: As a human, Gemi has found great use in a sickle and chain over the years, often using the chain to trip up, reel his opponents closer, or straight up disarm them, and the sickle to finish them off.
But, as a Komodo Dragon is where he posses his greatest weapon: The Dragon's Bite. Even if one were to escape his jaws once he's clamped on, they're as good as dead, due to the Dragon's saliva being so toxic. Essentially having a mouth full of poison, once bitten, one could be dead within a matter of days if the wound isn't treated quickly. Most of the Quell's death's at Gemi's hands are due to his toxic bite, and it's also what makes him such an efficent hunter as well.
Does your character hate the Quell, Howlers or Humans?: Gemi despises the Quell, thinking they could be nothing more than the mortal enemies of the Howlers, and need to be completely eradicated before his people can live in peace. He has an equal amount of disdain for humans as well, thinking them weak and inferior, and any aligning with the Quell only feeding to the belief even more so, and Half Breeds even more so.
Extra: As far as the Howlers go, Gemi eats fairly well. This is due to a Komodo Dragon's inate ability to eat even the most rotten of flesh from an animal. Due to this, finding food isn't as hard for Gemi as it would for other Howlers. Eating dead flesh is also the key to his toxic saliva, as the bacteria from the rot is what makes his poison so potent. As stated before, this bite is also what makes Gemi such an efficient hunter, and will often go out on his own to attempt to catch some big game for the tribe to eat. Due to this, Gemi is sometimes gone for weeks on end from tribe, having to play the game of patients for the animal to actually die from his bite before he can bring it back to the village to eat.
