She nodded before she turned her head hearing the commotion going on in camp. She spared it little care however before she turned her attention back on Aspenpaw "Are you bothered by us getting a new deputy?" she asked softly. She curled her tail around her paws "You know, a deputy has to learn what its like to be a leader." she said. "They gain a new appreciation for medicine cats and everything that we do.. The sacrifices we make for our clans." she said softly.

Bayclaw looked away from Slitfire and frowned at Squirrelpaw "Squirrelpaw." she said shaking her head "You can't just go out like that. You were called for a patrol you can't just leave camp and do whatever you want. You have to gather with your patrol and go out. Everyone has to work together to make our clan work and we can't all work together if you keep running off." she said.

Shadowstep glanced around the cats gathered quietly trying to figure out who exactly Silverstar might pick. He had a few suspicions, cats he thought would make a good deputy. But what did he know about all that? He shook out his fluffy black and white fur then glanced around again. He hadn't been called for anything so he supposed he was free until he could figure out something to do..

Sunspots hadn't been paying all that much attention to the meeting honestly, he was a young warrior and was in no way even close to being a deputy nor did he think he might ever want to be. He admired Silverstar for being able to put up with the entire clan and lead them but it seemed so hard he didn't ever want to try. Instead he looked around hoping to spot someone who'd be willing to talk to him.

Falconpaw watched the excited apprentice dart off again back to her mentor and slowly moved farther from the apprentice's den. Sitting down he watched the two new cats his eyes mostly on Kallie considering she was closer in age to him. If she joined she'd be an apprentice like him.

Pebblepool

Today was an especially hard day for Pebblepool, her back leg hurt just a little more than usual but she still slowly limped her way out of the elder's den so she could hear what Silverstar was talking about. After that the older she-cat slowly sat down and looked around the camp smiling slightly as she watched Bayclaw call for her apprentice and then Petalpelt disappear back into the medicine cat's den. She purred softly before her attention turned back to just casually watching the entire clan.

Aspenpaw sighed and looked away for a moment. "It's probably going to be Siltfire, my sister. She's already on my case about being a medicine cat now, but when.. Or if... She becomes deputy.." He trailed of slightly and shook his head. "I'm worrying about nothing, if Starclan wants her to be deputy then I won't complain" he added as he looked back to Petalpelt.

Ebonythorn smiled a bit at her response. "I assume we're just waiting for Copperfleck?" he asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. He turned his head to watch Squirrelpaw run back into camp with two cats following behind her. "what do you think that's all about?" He asked, turning back towards his clan mate.

Siltfire listened to the exchange between Bayclaw and Squirrelpaw, her paws itching to move. She looked to the medicine cat den where her younger brother, Aspenpaw, probably was. Siltfire tore her gaze away and looked back to the group of cats. "we're ready to go when you two are" she said softly to Bayclaw and Squirrelpaw.

Leandra had made her way into a new territory with new cats to meet, and new cats to meet meant there was bound to be a cat she would become borderline obsessed with. The brown tabby glanced around and took in the gorgeous surroundings, noting the intricate paths all over the forest. Leandra set her paw down onto one of the paths and began to walk, she seemed quite out of it, just letting her paws take her where she needs to be. Leandra became lost in her own thoughts, her mind wandered to her previous mate Oracle and their son Omen, who she hadn't seen in moons. Leandra shook her head and kept walking, she didn't want to think of Omen not travelling with her anymore.

she looked at her paws "sorry" she murmured, she knew she shouldn't have but she did it anyway, at this rate she will be an outsider forever. she sighed and looked at the other apprentices sadly but snapped back to her perky side, " sooooo we going yet?" she said while running in place.

The tom looked at the two cats, with little more then a polite smile taking shape. "I am glad you have such a good head on your shoulders. You seem capable of understanding your surrounding and others' intentions. To be expected of a brother." He meowed, as he could tell the siblings were very close. They probably relied on each other, but the tom seemed to be who protected them. Silverstar's tail grazed the ground softly. "I will not tell you to stay if you do not wish to. If you have a home to be, i would advice to go. But, if you would consider this place, please do look around..." His eyes then went to Greyflower. He ushered her over with a nod. "She can assist you with questions or if you need anything today."

Her ears shot up as she noticed the leader call for her. She padded immediately up, looking at the two new cats she saw briefly and was listening in on what was going on. Not to be nosy, it was in front of everyone. Her light green eyes blinked, giving a quite nod.

The tom looked at the other apprentice silently. He had nothing really to say, he watched everything. His eyes went to Slitfires'. "Understood. I will follow to the back." He meowed simply.

Petalpelt offered him a sympathetic look "It's only natural to worry. Even with our faith in StarClan you can't force yourself to not worry about everything." she said. "But as deputy your sister will learn a lot of things. She'll get to see first paw how important a medicine cat is and how vital our connection to StarClan is." she said. "Perhaps this will help you two to grow closer as she learns to appreciate what we do." she said.

Bayclaw nodded "Let's get going then." she said without another glance towards the new comers she followed Squirrelpaw up to the camp entrance and then slipped out of it. Pausing only to wait for Slitfire and Ashpaw. "Stick close as we go Squirrelpaw." she said. "If those two were close to camp i'm not sure who else we might find out here. They might not be as friendly." she warned.

After that the older she-cat slowly sat down and looked around the camp smiling slightly as she watched Bayclaw call for her apprentice and then Petalpelt disappear back into the medicine cat's den. She purred softly before her attention turned back to just casually watching the entire clan.

Tyrus nodded a greeting to the new cat. "We don't really have a home now." The tom glanced down at his sister before turning back to the two cats. "How much of a hindrance would we be if we stayed and joined your clan?" He flicked his ear. "I've learned a lot about hunting. I could help bring food back to everyone." Tyrus glanced back at Kallie, "I'm not sure what she could do to help out but I'm sure she can learn. She may be hyper, but she learns quickly." The black and white tom looked at newly approached she-cat. "Can we have a tour and a quick rundown of how things work?"

Kallie was unusually quiet for once. She glanced at the two cats that stood before her. The she-cats gaze locked onto her brother. Everything was suddenly starting to hit her. All of the new surroundings and unfamiliar cats were a little overwhelming for her. Would this be their new home? Would these cats be her new friends? Or would they be mean to her for being an outsider? The tip of Kallie's tail flicked.

Siltfire followed after Bayclaw and beckoned for Ashpaw to follow as well. The smokey furred she-cat followed close to Bayclaw and Squirrelpaw, she took in the scents around her to make sure there were no other wanderers around their forest. [a little bit of Writer's block, sorry]

squirrelpaw trots around the path and sniffs for scents until a bee stung her muzzle while she was looking at a poppy "owww that hurtt" she said while she rubbed her nose and rushed back to the patrol.
