so i'll be getting up a post mighty soon! in the meantime, to
organize things, i decided to make a archive for falconclan!
it not much as of yet but more will be added to it shortly after
i get my first post up and done!

also i'd love to introduce my lovely leader as well into the mix <:
look at this pretty little boyo :'o im trying to come up with some names for
the leader of my clan and I think owlstar [male] would be a good
name for them due to the clans beliefs in "the great owl" <:?

i'm faerie but u can just call me fae or fox! i use she / her pronouns .
i needed an origin to amberclan, my fanclan, so here we are.

also, as an fyi, i do have a quite a bit of anxiety and since i don't understand
absolutely everything about cac at the moment, i probably won't be partaking
in allies & enemies just yet; this is the same for bordering clans, and i'm
hoping it's okay if i leave them out of my posts for now!

i was also wondering if somebody could shoot me a pm with the cac discord?
i'm sure it'll be easier to contact me there, anyway. thanks so much, and i'm
excited to see where amberclan goes! (if anywhere, hopefully sootstar

@my clans - got my replies up! sorry for the lack of written replies again, i just wasn't too confident in my writing this week and uh,, felt it best if i left them blank again. ^^;

@zephyrine - aaah i'll see if i can throw in dandelionpaw to chat with lightpaw at this gathering! :'0 and i adore dewfang and fernpaw so much, nothing about their relationship seems forced at all and i think they've got a wonderful relationship. ;o; it's nice to see how their lives continue on as the rest of the clan is starting to fall sick because of that mysterious disease. which better NOT get to dew or fern omg

@hazilnut - one word; MALLOWEYES! i don't think you'll understand how ecstatic i was to see her again. and crocusgaze is a rather intriguing character as well, she's a cat i definitely want to see more. ;0

@imperials - welcome to cac!! i'm dei, a mod and owner of pineclan. :'0 i hope you have fun here, and katrione and marya d.'s advice is pretty sound. i love the way your leader looks btw!

@22tabby - you just jump into a gathering the same way you'd roleplay on a rp forum, if that helps understand it? you can send your leader, deputy, and medicine cat along with six other cats of your choosing to interact with other clans until it comes to an end. it's generally a good place to find allies/enemies and initiate some friendships or forbidden romances.

@faerie; - once again, welcome to cac! ;o; and that's just fine, you can add allies, enemies, and borders at any time you choose to. ^^

When you want borders - and there's no rush - normally people put an add on the fanclub thread saying something like "hey, my clan is like [this], and I have [these] borders open at the moment, does anyone want to border [my clan]?"
Sometimes people PM people instead if they feel a bit more shy, which I know because that's what I normally do.
I don't have any allies or enemies yet either, so don't worry. No one's going to rush you into any alliances! But the impression I have is that you can either work them out in the same style as the borders or fix them up at gatherings.

In very short:

In short:
You can decide borders here, but you also can over PM if you want to instead.

In medium:

In long:
You can address borders on the fanclub, but you don't have to if you'd prefer to do it by PM if you have in mind to border a specific clan.
The most common thing (that I've seen) is to post on the fanclub which borders you have open, and what each of your borders are like, or any other information you think is important. This might be something like "[cat] is looking for lots of forbidden romances, so I'd especially like to have other people who'd also like forbidden romances as neighbours", or really whatever else, as long as it's reasonable. Normally you'll get a good bunch of people saying that they've got an open border there, or sometimes that they have a similar border open, but it's on a diagonal, and they saw you use the 4-border-system rather than 8-border, so could you switch over so that you can border their NW border(?) or something like that. I don't know if anyone else thinks of clans as using different border systems, but it's basically just how many slots a clan has open for borders.
If you see someone else who's asking about wanting borders, and you want to border, you can post here your response or PM them if you feel a bit shy about posting on here or want to discuss it more fully, etc. If you don't want to border, or none of the borders match, there's no obligation.
I've not seen any of the mods assigning borders, but I think most would be willing to have you run into a neighbouring clans' patrols, as I had that once.
If you see a clan who you'd particularly like to border and you have corresponding borders open(note: unless they are matching opposites, such as North -> South and South-West -> North-East, map sections will be messy, but if you don't mind mess, that shouldn't be too big a deal), then I recommend just PM-ing the person about it.

Having a border with someone doesn't force you to only interact with them, and there's no reason you can't interact with non-bordering clans, so don't feel obligated to make borders unless you actually want to!

hello everyone! this is a really special announcement about the future of create-a-clan oekaki!!
due to the inactivity of v1(which was no-ones fault, by the way, it requires a lot of attention and dedication to be successful), my friend grey_hoodie and i have received permission to make a v2! this is really exciting for the both of us and we're hyped to get v2 up and let you all make your clans! however, in order for v2 to be successful, we're going to need a lot of artists. the artists have a very important job, which is to draw the territories of the clan, colour in the warrior/leader/deputy/queen/kit lines of the cats, and to keep an archive of the clan on the territory post! currently we only have one artist, and we're looking for 3-4 more to join. if you're interested, please pm me(marya d.) any examples of colored in lineart, freestyle, and landscape art. we are only accepting digital artists. i am always open for any and all questions about v2! thank you so much for reading this, and may the odds ever be in your favour!!
