^^ I totally agree With that. My first character I made was a spitting image of my personality, so I was able to learn from that. I'm still learning the ropes of playing a guy, but I feel my girl characters will always be easier to play.

I agree. I think that whatever gender you are yourself will be easier to role-play than the opposite gender.

Rant: When people make gays/homos/etc. What's the point of that? What do you really mean to accomplish? xP

I must disagree with that -- I'm terrible at rping female anything, but I'm pretty comfortable rping males.

And, what they're trying to accomplish is having a homosexual character. Nothing more. It's not like it's illegal to go ahead and make a homo, and usually it adds an interesting element to the rp.

There are, however, people who make homo characters just to make them as "unique" as possible, lol. And then go about breaking that part of their personalities and flirting with people of the opposite gender. xD

I actually find males easier to roleplay. Even though I am female myself. Girls have very complex emotions, lots of girls act like something but think something entierly different as they do so. Or that's what I've obseved *Shrug*

Maybe they make gay people because they WANT to roleplay a gay person? >.> There more interesting to roleplay, frankly I love having people of different sexualities [Myself being a Unbiased Asexual]. Plus there's nothing wrong with wanting to RP people like that. It's not to prove a point at all ^.^

...excuse me? I take offence to this.
Do you seriously think that straight people are the only people in the
entire world or something?

People create homosexual characters because they create homosexual characters.
It is the same damn thing as with hetero characters 8|

I happen to be bisexual myself - a lot of my characters have homo/bi tendencies
because it is a subject I'm familiar and comfortable with.

I very much agree with you there. Very much so.
I am unbiased Asexual, so if someone turned me to actually liking someone it wouldn't matter if it were a girl OR boy.
Gays, Bi-sexuals, lesbians and Asexuals are normal people. People want to RP them BECAUSE they want to RP them.
Love is Love ^.^ RP character is RP character~!

I can't find the time to roleplay now, I have homework QAQ And WB is starting to creep in on me as I speak D: I can't be bothered trying to make the RP's I wanted to -.-

No, that's not what I'm saying. I think that you mis-read me ^^' I'm saying that if you're a younger kid, I don't think that you really want to see homo's or something in an R.P., simply because you won't necessarily know that they're there. Not to mention, if you could be a COPPA, but your parents signed the consent form to get your account freed up, then who knows who's seeing it?

I'm straight, I guess I just find it to be a more different, out there concept for a role-play to have in it.

But seriously, don't take this the wrong way. If you're homo/bi, I couldn't care less. As a matter of fact, I'm rooting for you. Homo's/gays/bi's should just be allowed. You should be able to do what you want.

Here's another rant: I have a great idea for an R.P., I just can't manage to fit it into words D'8

I don't mind people having characters that are bi/homosexual/lesbian etc. They're free to make their characters whatever way they want to. It generally doesn't effect many role plays but it does make romance role plays a bit more interesting (And normal RPs which allow romance). I'm straight myself so yeah, there you go. x3

I don't find much of a difference between how I RP boys and girls. ._. I just follow the personality I gave them. And I'm one of those weird people that think too much about everything and then I miss all the small details so my female characters can seem like males at times and the opposite for male characters (Though most of the time I don't notice till a month later and then I'm like 'oh!'). xD And really to me, everyone's about the same really, so I don't notice too much if people are acting like the opposite gender. x3

Rant; I just joined another role play and I realised they live in another timezone. >_> This RP's going to be very slow. D:

Honestly, I don't see what's so wrong with seeing homosexual characters in any rp, even if you're young. There are plenty of people with different sexualities other than hetero out there, and it's not like having homo/bi/whatever characters promotes everyone to be that orientation, if you get what I mean. This isn't the 1920's, or whatever -- being homo/whatever isn't illegal, and rping them shouldn't be detrimental to anybody who happens to stroll by and read their posts.
