I believe they were adopted late, they’re grown now unless they are in anoother group I did not see

It's still the 22nd for me? but I somehow missed the day 22 pets?? This has happened more that once. Hell, it happened on the very first day of the Christmas event, and I'm just a tad aggravated

New releases happen at midnight server time, so it isn't actually dependent on your own timezone (unless the two actually line up). You can check here what time it is on CS:

There is also a countdown on the advent page that lets you know how much time is left to adopt the day's gift.^^

That's kinda dumb : / I feel like they should have a system where it releases by user time zone, and not the admin time zone -- eh.. I would be less mad if it hadn't kept me from getting so many of the pets.

Releasing pets based on user timezone rather than server timezone would be very complicated and confuse many users. Some people would get pets earlier than others simply because their timezone is later. Many other sites use the same server-based timezone method and it works perfectly fine. It's unfortunate that you've missed days, but I suggest maybe setting an alarm so you know when it's time to adopt?

Well, it resets the same time every night, so, just learn what time it happens for you and you will always get it. It's at 7 PM for me in fall/winter and 8 PM in spring/summer (because of daylight savings time). Its not dumb, literally every website has a time based on the admin/creator's time zone, that is different than my own. You just learn what time it is and then you wont miss things. *shrugs*
