As adorable and well-drawn as the hammy is it seems morbid to me in a way that other food pets don't. That morbidity is funny but also kind of disturbing. I like the mini-trend of naming them Tofurkey haha, that makes it cute.

Some years there's some kind of "tree pet" that we get during the Advent Calendar. It''s not every year, but we still do get them sometimes. It's not guaranteed we'll get one this year, though I hope we do!
