"Tangletail," Pepperstar yowled, her eyes falling on the warrior new warrior, "Even though you have just earned your warrior name, I trust that you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to Ashpaw. TangleTail, you have shown yourself to be a cat of skill and talent, as well as patience. I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice." Pepperstar said.

Tangletail grinned and padded over to Ashpaw, touching noses with him breifly "it all starts now, are you ready Ashpaw?" he asked still grinning.

Pepperstar grinned at Tangletail, and cleared her throat. This was the last kit who had to become an apprentice. "Silentkit! Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and train with your mentor until you become a warrior?" She asked, her voice becoming excited. Pepperstar had saved this ceremony for last, and her anxiety was growing; she was having a hard time keeping still.

Silentkit mewed and nodded her head yes, she was so glade that PepperStar was letting her become a apprentice, because of her diability she didn't think that any cat would want to be her mentor, but if PepperStar was letting her become an apprentice surely there was someone that would accept her?

After a moment of silence, Pepperstar spoke up once again. "Silentkit, from now on, your name will be Silentpaw, and I will be your mentor. I hope that I will teach you everything you need to know, and I am sure that I will pass on my knowledge of the warrior code and everything else to you." She meowed, excitement in her voice; Pepperstar had not mentored an apprentice for quiet some time, and she was excited that she would get to mentor one as interesting as Silentpaw.

Silentpaw's heart seem to freeze in place. The clan leader was to mentor her? Then excitement took over. She leaped to Pepperstar's side and gently touched noses.

Nightshade purred. For some reason he felt more protective over Silentpaw than Ashpaw and she agreed with the choice of mentor for her.

Ashpaw grinned. "I am ready" He purred at Tangletail, his eyes bright

Pepperstar purred, and smiled at her new apprentice. "I am sure that you will learn quickly and train your hardest to become a warrior that Leafclan will be proud of." She meowed happily. "And I too will do my best to teach you as much as possible."
