If you have a December 18th pet that has multiple outcomes, some of which being below-rare, is it possible to get an uncommon or is your pet a guaranteed rare/vr?

nope, every outcome from December 18th is guaranteed to be at least a rare c:

Actually, I do believe you can only obtain rares from the event, but these rares have a chance to become uncommon after the event, if enough people received them.

Edit: here's one of my first December 18th adopts (I missed the 2012 one :') )

It was rare when it first grew, but turned uncommon a couple months later.

1st few years was possible to adopt anything... even commons and uncommons and that made a lot of members upset when they wait whole year and then they got just common dog... also was possible to get any outcome from the newborn before... if one was rare and other common/uncommon you could get them too... but after 2011 (I think) they changed it (also was did big changes in the rarity - and they started count pets only from active accounts - so a lot of rares went down) and everybody can adopt only rares... even if some newborns have more outcomes (common/uncommon) you will get only that rare one outcome

one interest: back in time was also re-released only rainbow RBM horse... not other colors so you was sure that you get that one main list... but they change it then too and now you can get any of that color from RBM ^^
