Revenants are mammo-reptillians, meaning that they share the qualities of both mammals and reptiles. Revenants lay eggs but can have fur and produce milk for their offspring. Revenants, have a mix of cold-blooded and warm-blooded traits, which causes them to regulate their body temperature before they freeze or overheat, but are strongly influenced by outside temperatures. This causes them to live in tropical areas and in caves close, but not too close, to lava. Revenants are omnivores. They shed and become a lot like hairless cats during the hot seasons and grow a lot of fur when it gets cold. When first hatched they're small enough that a mother can generally carry about 3 or 4 around in her mouth.

Gender: Female (Male for breeding purposes, if that's alright? If not, male for both is fine)

I hope you like agama facts because my tablet isn't working aaaand I'm having writing block
The distinguishing feature of members of the Agama family is the fact that their teeth are fused to the jaw rather than being located in sockets like with most other vertebrates. Some members of the Agama family can change their color to a degree, like chameleons. Bearded dragons are also part of this family, actually.
Hatchlings of the red headed Agama species (Agama Agama) are male if the temperature they're incubated at is 29 Celsius, and female if the temperature is 26-27 degrees. When they hatch they tend to eat lots of rocks and sand.
Bonus: the toad headed agama, because they're neat.
