~Winter Snowstorm~ Official KOS Event OPEN

Hello! My name is Andromeda. If you're here then you must've heard about what happened! After we finished setting up our festivities to celebrate the Winter Solstice, a huge snowstorm blew in! I need your help to find the lost travelers and bring them back here in between breaks in the storm. You can choose one serpent to help you! Your special helper will get a traveling harness like what I have on. It comes in three colors; black, brown, or white. Choose carefully! You'll only get one harness. They can help you in one of two ways. They can either help you look, or they can carry some of your things so you can make a bit more ground in your search! However, you don't need a serpent to help me. Who knows what you'll find out there, some serpents may be grateful enough that they'll want to stay with you!

You can start from one of four points on the map. From there, you can go to any tile you wish that is touching your own. Be careful when exploring in the caves! The ice in them is always shifting and changing, so you may come out in a different place than where you started!

So you want to go out exploring into the storm? Just be careful, we don't want any frostbitten fingers or toes.
Due to the extreme weather, you may only go exploring once every 8 hours. Make sure to let Andromeda know where you're going otherwise your exploring won't count! The Explore Form is posted below. If it is your first time exploring and you would like to set your explore serpent, please post their name and image so they can be given their harness! Just make sure to let me know which harness color you would like (white, black or brown) in your form. Remember, once you set your event serpent, you cannot change them*!

The serpent from earlier who had been moving boxes looks like she's almost done setting up shop. You see an array of items set out before you on the displays. Some glitter from the precious metals, others look more homey. You see Merrick poking his head over the divide to watch Bemira

Merrick has a training course and regiment set up for the serpents who want to make one of the bears displaced by the storm their companion! Due to their large size, if you do no want them to show up in your serpents image, there is the option of showing off your serpents fancy bear whistle! This whistle will let everyone know that they have bee trained in the care of bears, and that they currently have a bear companion (or companions!).

If your serpent wants to go through the training, they must send these items in to Merrick:

You walk into an area where many serpents have gathered. At first it seems to be one big confusing mass, but then you see that they are signing up for something. You walk to the table where the one who seems to be organizing this area. She looks up at you from the stacks of paperwork.
"Welcome to the Adoption Area!" she says. You ask her what it's for.
"Why, here is where you can make a friend and adopt a serpent into your family! Those serpents over there are signing up for the type of family they'd like to go to. There are three groups; those who want to go to someone who has no serpents, those who just want to go to a home, and those who have to be impressed! If you don't have any serpents, be sure to apply for the first group. These end on Saturday of each week while the celebrations are going on.

Limelight looks up from her paperwork, and you see a few serpents lingering around. Limelight reminds you that the first two are raffles for their respective groups, and the third has to be impressed"

"I was wondering if you could help me out. Some of these serpents have been displaced by the storm and are looking for new homes! As much as I'd be willing to share my den space I think they would prefer some different company. Each of them will only be staying with me for a day or so until they can find a home. That way I can house another until they find a home and continue that cycle until I'm sure there aren't anymore stranded out there."

Welcome to my little booth. The names Fog'rin. Its snowing pretty hard out there and not all serpents can be blessed with as much fur as i have.
