xxxxxxxxxThe older male noticed the first buzz of Takashi’s phone which was soon followed by another. When the other excused himself to answer it Pierce merely smiled and nodded; taking some more bites of his salad while the other answered the texts. Once done he explained it was his sister, “So you have siblings? If you don’t mind me asking how many brothers or sisters do you have? I myself have a younger sister.” He explained with a smile, curious to learn more about Takashi.

Blake jumped with a yelp at the voice that appeared behind him. He quickly moved to block the person's view of the words he was writing. He was a bit surprised to see one of the smartest kids in the grade standing and then sitting at his table. "Uh, it's nothing really. I, uh. Its just for fun." He tried to offer a smile as he closed the notebook. He was trying to ignore the urge to finish the paragraph he had been working on now that Percy was here. He felt so self conscious writing where others could see over his shoulder.

"i have a younger sister and brother who are twins, and i have an older sister." takashi said and paused for a short moment. "the twins are rascals. mostly because i taught them how to cover up their tracks to simply steal things, but it's already they're second year in school and they've already gotten, like, 5 phone calls home from their principal and their teacher because they're stealing from other kids and getting in fights."

takashi remembered the day before when he had picked up the phone when the twins principal called because his mom wasn't home - hah, he still regretted picking up the phone that day. "however i don't see my older sister very often. she's traveling around the world, she's coming to visit soon though." takashi didn't bother to mention the fact of the whole reason why his sister was traveling.

xxxxxxxxxPierce ended up finishing his salad as the other spoke, listening intently that he ended up with a fork of nothing and attempted to eat it; though after that he placed the fork back in the small Tupperware before focusing back on what Takashi was saying. So he had three siblings, Pierce couldn't begin to imagine how crazy their household must get. "Wow, I only have a younger sister but I don't get to see her very often." he explained before commenting on Takashi's older sister, "So she's travelling? That's pretty cool, does she bring back some cool souvenirs?" he asked curiously.

takashi covered his hands again with his sweater sleeve, which was being pulled down when he stretched his arms underneath the table, to cover the drawings that he drew all over his arm. "she doesn't usually get souvenirs because the twins usually break them, but she usually takes pictures with her phone and shows me and the twins." takashi paused. "the last souvenir she got was ruined which was a framed photo of her and a couple people she met while she was in japan. the twins were playing tag and ended up going into my older sisters room and they knocked it down, the glass shattered everywhere." takashi explained and, once again, started to fiddle with his pencil with his hands underneath the table.

pausing for a second, he recalled listening to pierce say that he didn't see his sister often. "why don't you see your sister that much, if you don't mind me asking?" he asked.

They snorted. It sounded snobbish.
"You look like you write a lot; how have you not gone commercial yet?!"
Snobbish and money-hungry. Nice going, Perce his mind supplied.
No-one had called him 'Perce' in awhile now.
"So... can I see?"
Note to self: never socialise again.
"I mean, you don't look like a bad author..."
Percy themself wasn't sure if that was a compliment or an insult; oh well. The boy (Blake, his mind supplied from an ever observant memory) could take it either way; Percy didn't care.
... Since when did he feel guilt about social interactions with other people?
He began to eat his sludge, filling his mouth with an odd, fish-tasting substance instead of meant-to-be-friendly words.

Blake's body tensed up with every comment Percy made. "Uh." There was something about Percy asking to read the writing he had been concealing for a while now that made him hesitate. After a moment of panicked thought, Blake nodded a bit. "I guess, if you want." He slowly slid the notebook over to Percy. No one else had ever asked to read it, partially because he usually only wrote in private or when alone. But despite the snooty comments, something about what Blake knew about Percy told him that the other student could give him valuable feedback.
