Doefur's ears perked up as she listened to the meeting, dipping her head with a soft smile at the mentor and apprentice. Turning towards Dunepelt, she murmured with a flick of her dappled tail, "how nice. I'm pleased for the both of them.

At the murmur of his best friend, the tall abyssinian nodded. "It reminds me of when we were younger." Dunepelt chuckled slightly to himself. "I remember being that age." Almost reminiscently, Dunepelt gazed off into the distance for a heartbeat before snapping back to Doefur.

Pinestar dipped his head ''I hope you will pass on what you've learned to your new apprentice.'' The tom stepped off the tree trunk and glanced around his cats warmly then added ''We'll need a deputy soon, so later we will be hosting a deputy pick.'' he turned and padded off

Birchtail dipped her head, her eyes sparkling. She turned to her new apprentice, and was glad to see how excited she was.
"We'll go explore first, now that I'm here you won't get lost." She purred, waving her tail. Birchtail couldn't help sharing the she-cat's excitement, but deep down she was also quite nervous. Stop it. I can do this.. She thought to herself, sighing quietly as she waiting for Dovepaw.

Dovepaw nodded and jogged to catch up with her. She could tell Birchtail was a bit nervous, and smiled reassuringly as she reached her side. She was nervous too. After her apprenticeship, she would be a warrior. And then she would have her own apprentice. So everything she learned counted towards her future. She wanted to learn as much as she could before becoming a warrior. So she followed, quite obviously determined. " it wont happen again after this. Ill just memorize where everything is " she said happily, unaware that memorizing a map of the forest wasnt really possible.

"Take notice of the different scents, and you'll find your way around eventually. I'll take you up to the border and we can go around from there." Birchtail mewed, feeling calmer now that she was in the forest. She led Dovepaw over to the border, and narrowed her eyes. The same rouge scent was still here, and stronger too. Is he setting scent markers? She thought, sniffing around. There was also more scents, both she-cats. Why are they here? She wondered, trying to decide if she'd tell Pinestar.
Turning her attention back to Dovepaw she mewed, "what can you smell?"

"Hello! That's a lovely name." He smiles. She came over to talk to me! Badgerfang clears his thoughts so he could focus. "How are you?" He manages to maintain his confidence, but deep down he just wanted to burst out how much he loved the she-cat.

A shrill yowl from nearby makes him jump, and he lets out a snort of frustration. "These PineClan cats aren't as coordinated as I thought! How do they catch their prey with all that noise? Scare it to death?" Mateo carries on through the forest, but stops. He lifts his head and scents the air. Two cats have been here very recently- then he picks up another scent from not too far away. And another is nearby, but not from PineClan... Mateo decides to follow the scent away into the outskirts of the clan's territory.

Cinder/ Shecat/ 22 moons/ Crushless/ Tags: Open

The shecat stalks silently through the undergrowth, her head and tail lowered. Every so often she would freeze, listening out for any approaching cats. She was hunting. Hunting for a place to sleep. She had been travelling for a long time now, almost without rest. Ah, finally... She finds a tree which seemed safe enough - she was picky with her sleeping places. Using the last of her strength she leaps up the tree, hauling herself onto a thick branch sheltered by leaves. Almost immediately she lays down and falls asleep.

"That's good." He smiles. "I'm better now that you're here!" He looks down and pins his ears slightly was that a weird thing to say? He paws at the ground, wondering if she would still want to talk to him.

"It's alright." He mews confidently as he pads out of the shadows. "I'm Mateo. You're not from PineClan, are you?" The tom stalks up to her, giving her a curious sniff. "You're a loner, like me." He stood proudly, his fluffy cedar fur shining in the sun.
