Check snickered at Ruby's humorous response. He threw another pepperoni in the air, catching it in his teeth first before her ate it. He looked at Ruby out of the corner of his eye for just a moment, seeing if he impressed him.

[Dethuma]

Ruby was looking the other way by the time Check looked over, he had seen what he'd done but he was easily distracted and was currently staring at something that wasn't there at all.

Check seemed disappointed. So did Dizzy. She barked once, sharp and loud. She was quite unhappy that her 'dad' was tossing food around and not letting her catch it. Check yelped, startled. "Ooh, no barking, Dizzy, I'll give you some, chill." He sighed, turning to face Dizzy, who was behind Ruby. "Sit..."

[Dethuma]

Ruby jumped and instantly covered his ears at the sudden loud noises that filled the room. He stepped back and squeaked when he nearly tripped over Dizzy. He removed his hands to put on the counted and steady himself before he looked at Check.

Dizzy was fast enough to get out of Ruby's way, and Check threw a few pepperonis across the apartment to get her to leave them alone for a second. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, I didn't realize how much yelling would scare you. I'm sorry," he said again, looking extremely guilty.

[Dethuma]

"Its fine." he said after a few moments, smiling weakly at Check "I should've warned you about it." he rubbed the back of his head "I know its not a super common thing so it's more my fault than yours."

[ThatPinkThing]

"Well, still," Check sighed, trying to smile again, "Sorry. I'll remember for next time." He looked down to the floor as Dizzy trotted back around the island, tail wagging. He sighed, pointing at the pup. "You, you gotta be more quiet for Rubles, Ditzy." He wagged his finger at the dog, smirking at his own use of both their nicknames.
