Where did you go?” The Kit licked her mother’s face while sobbing. Did this happen because she was angry her mother had dragged her and Falconkit into being Kittypets?

Blazepaw had never seen Flamingshadow so annoyed. She did her best to try and find a place to wait out the flood. So far she saw a log, a few bushes, and lots of trees. “We don’t have many options.” She said, trying to stay calm. When Robinslash spoke she sighed, relieved.
“No. I’ve only ever seen her alone but I do know she is a Duskclan cat by her scent. You don’t think her parents drowned in the flood...” Smokepaw whispered looking down at the sleeping kit.
Mousekit nuzzled her Mom. “Please Mom. Next time you go out promise you’ll let us know.” She would talk to Falconkit about leaving when her mother wasn’t nearby.

Bayclaw chuckled softly "Sleep well Waterflight." she purred before she moved closer to her sister Brighteyes. Curling up together the two grey cats stared out at the sky waiting for the storm to break.

Brighteyes laid beside Bayclaw watching the sky.
Stormyskies began to quietly groom Waterflight's fur, he didn't say anything else as he didn't want to disturb her. Instead her just quietly thought about everything that had happened recently.

Embergaze had finally taken off after her clan, stressed and overwhelmed she headed in the wrong direction. Life had not been all that kind to her. Her twin had been a killer, exiled from the clan for killing one of its beloved medicine cats many moons ago. She'd never broken out of the shame of that though she tried as hard as she could as deputy to win the trust of her clanmates and prove she wasn't like Spiderbite. When she had finally thought she'd gotten it all right, her beloved mate had left her and the clan. It had all been a lie. Then there was the infighting with clanmates and she felt she'd lost control. So when she headed in the wrong direction she didn't notice. She was too consumed with her own thoughts to process anything at that moment. Worried about a clan she wasn't even sure actually cared for her. It was quick, she slipped smacking her head and leaving her unconcious. Injured and alone farther into loner territory and closer to two legs than she meant to be. She was far from her clanmates and unable to assist them when they'd realize their leader had perished in the flood. (Embergaze is not available to be found by anyone until Rosethorn gets her nine lives. She will be away in loner territory for a bit)

Frostpetal managed a weak grin "You don't have to tell me twice, i'd hate to get left here." she said as hurriedly followed the other she-cat. Sticking close to her she tried to think of something to say that would comfort them both but was at a loss. Her thoughts kept traveling back to the fire and now to this.. She wasn't sure how much more anyone could take.. How much more she could take.

It wasn't that he was impatient with them he just wanted them all to get somewhere safer. "I hate to break up our party but I think Swiftnight was right and we should get going." he said. Glancing at Silentstream "I guess.. to where the clan's waiting." he said.

Darkgaze paused, turning his head to look back at Nightspook "Are you alright?" he asked turning to walk back over to her. He still seemed to be perfectly calm regardless of the situation they were in. "Let's keep heading north." he said before he turned back around, waiting for her before he continued. Inside, Darkgaze was pretty worried, but he'd never let that show. He was the type of cat that hid his own feelings and fears in favor of being there for everyone else.

Swiftleap fell silent, staying close to Briareyes as he watched their kits. He silently wished he could comfort her, his mind more on thinking up ways to do that than trying to pay attention to what the kits were saying.
Treekit flinched slightly when he saw the lightning strike before he looked over at the other two kits. "What if StarClan is mad?" he said softly. "Maybe.. Maybe someone did something? There has to be a reason they won't help us..." he said pinning his ears. He shifted nervously "They still like us don't they?" he asked pitifully.
Acornkit frowned "I think Volekit is right, I think they're just being dumb.. Or maybe they don't know? Maybe they can't see how high the water is from up there? We all must look so small.." she said glancing up at the sky trying to make sense of everything.

She looked at Shadowsneak and then at Rosethorn and frowned "I don't have any friends now.." she said miserably.

Wolfstar flicked his tail slowly his gaze moving over the camp one last time before he nodded "We can go to higher grounds." he said before he stood up. Hopping up on the rock he used to call for meetings "Cats of DawnClan!" he shouted across the camp. "We will be leaving our camp for the time being and moving to the higher ground in our territory. Just as a precaution." he said. "I need all the apprentices to find a warrior to escort them. I need at least one warrior to go with every queen to protect them as well." he said. "No one gets left behind." he said.

But he'd gone and made himself an enemy by leaving..

Embergaze had finally taken off after her clan, stressed and overwhelmed she headed in the wrong direction. Life had not been all that kind to her. Her twin had been a killer, exiled from the clan for killing one of its beloved medicine cats many moons ago. She'd never broken out of the shame of that though she tried as hard as she could as deputy to win the trust of her clanmates and prove she wasn't like Spiderbite. When she had finally thought she'd gotten it all right, her beloved mate had left her and the clan. It had all been a lie. Then there was the infighting with clanmates and she felt she'd lost control. So when she headed in the wrong direction she didn't notice. She was too consumed with her own thoughts to process anything at that moment. Worried about a clan she wasn't even sure actually cared for her. It was quick, she slipped smacking her head and leaving her unconcious. Injured and alone farther into loner territory and closer to two legs than she meant to be. She was far from her clanmates and unable to assist them when they'd realize their leader had perished in the flood. (Embergaze is not available to be found by anyone until Rosethorn gets her nine lives. She will be away in loner territory for a bit)

Frostpetal managed a weak grin "You don't have to tell me twice, i'd hate to get left here." she said as hurriedly followed the other she-cat. Sticking close to her she tried to think of something to say that would comfort them both but was at a loss. Her thoughts kept traveling back to the fire and now to this.. She wasn't sure how much more anyone could take.. How much more she could take.

Ravenwind pinned his ears "Stormwake are you sure?" he asked not really wanting to leave the other warrior. "Please don't take any chances you don't need to.." he said not wanting to push them too far. He knew they weren't close but that didn't mean he didn't worry for Stormwake, especially after all they'd been through. He glanced at Windsong then looked back at Stormwake.

Brackenfall sighed "Most of the lower parts of the forest are probably flooded by now." he said flicking his tail impatiently. It wasn't that he was impatient with them he just wanted them all to get somewhere safer. "I hate to break up our party but I think Swiftnight was right and we should get going." he said. Glancing at Silentstream "I guess.. to where the clan's waiting." he said.
Darkgaze

Darkgaze paused, turning his head to look back at Nightspook "Are you alright?" he asked turning to walk back over to her. He still seemed to be perfectly calm regardless of the situation they were in. "Let's keep heading north." he said before he turned back around, waiting for her before he continued. Inside, Darkgaze was pretty worried, but he'd never let that show. He was the type of cat that hid his own feelings and fears in favor of being there for everyone else.
Swiftleap

Swiftleap fell silent, staying close to Briareyes as he watched their kits. He silently wished he could comfort her, his mind more on thinking up ways to do that than trying to pay attention to what the kits were saying.
Treekit flinched slightly when he saw the lightning strike before he looked over at the other two kits. "What if StarClan is mad?" he said softly. "Maybe.. Maybe someone did something? There has to be a reason they won't help us..." he said pinning his ears. He shifted nervously "They still like us don't they?" he asked pitifully.
Acornkit frowned "I think Volekit is right, I think they're just being dumb.. Or maybe they don't know? Maybe they can't see how high the water is from up there? We all must look so small.." she said glancing up at the sky trying to make sense of everything.
Hawktalon

Hawktalon sat in silence as he listened to Swiftleap and Briareyes speak, his gaze was on the rain still falling out over their territory. A worried look on his face as he silently prayed for it to stop.

Riverbriar hesitated "So we're taking him back with us to the clan?" she asked turning her mismatched pale blue and yellow eyes on him watching him curiously for a few moments. She sighed "I mean.. I guess you don't seem that bad." the tortoiseshell said shrugging slightly. "So I guess this is just me saying don't make us regret this." she said.

Spottedpaw glanced up, she couldn't tell where Flurrybreeze and Mottlecloud went with all this rain. She pinned her ears and looked over at Shadowsneak "I.. I don't know what I want to do.." she mumbled. She shifted slightly "I just don't want to be alone.." Spottedpaw had never considered leaving her clan before. She'd never felt the need to. She was loyal and being a warrior of DuskClan had been her dream. But now her entire future felt uncertain. Who would she be assigned to now? Who would talk to her in the apprentice's den? She looked at Shadowsneak and then at Rosethorn and frowned "I don't have any friends now.." she said miserably.

Wolfstar flicked his tail slowly his gaze moving over the camp one last time before he nodded "We can go to higher grounds." he said before he stood up. Hopping up on the rock he used to call for meetings "Cats of DawnClan!" he shouted across the camp. "We will be leaving our camp for the time being and moving to the higher ground in our territory. Just as a precaution." he said. "I need all the apprentices to find a warrior to escort them. I need at least one warrior to go with every queen to protect them as well." he said. "No one gets left behind." he said.

Shadowstep snorted and flicked his tail. Turning his head he looked over at Slypaw and frowned at him "Where is your mentor?" were the first words that came out of his mouth. He was a little harsher than his mate was, not always on purpose though.

"Yes.. I'd like to talk to her about it.. I'm concern-" he was cut off by the sudden appearance of the kits "Uh.." he pricked his ears slowly and looked at Flurrybreeze. "Well.. This is bad." he said before he looked down at the kits. DuskClan would be very angry to be missing some of their kits.. Of course he'd want to take them back.. But he'd gone and made himself an enemy by leaving..

Mistyfalls let out a loud sigh of relief before she began to laugh "Oh wow okay you really scared me." she said. "I totally thought I was going to have to answer to a DuskClan patrol why I haven't come home." she said. She grinned at the pair "Do I know where DawnClan is? Well of course!! I know where DawnClan is because i'm apart of DawnClan." she said her eyes sparkling with excitement. "We're moving away from the waters before our camp gets too bad but I can still get you to Wolfstar i'm sure he wouldn't mind having a few extra warriors around during this." she said.

"Who'se Wolfstar?" he asked looking back at Mistyfalls. No one in his recent memory who'd left DuskClan had, had the prefix wolf.. Except.. His previous mentor Wolfsong. But the tom had been exiled a while ago..

Sheepkit wiggled her nose and cried out again this time because of her dislike of the rain and how cold it felt. She just wanted to be set down somewhere dry where she could sleep beside her mother. She didn't really understand all of this.
