Welcome to Tivera Adopts wrote:Tivera are secretive, dragon-like creatures who are most commonly seen after dark. In the wild, they tend to stay a comfortable distance from settlements of species of similar advanced intellect. Caucuses of tivera are typically very close to each other, and even the bonds between unrelated tivera resemble the connection between siblings. Tivera will live with their families until periods of hardship, common during the winter months, when they will leave individually or in pairs to fend for themselves. In more southern environments, it is not uncommon for Tivera to spend their entire lives with the same group.
Tivera tend to be quite stocky, often reaching just 2.5' at the shoulder, but commonly weighing over 150lbs. They have good control of their front digits, allowing them to preform tasks requiring fine motor movement without great difficulty. A long crest runs from the back of their heads to the ends of their tails, which varies in size from tivera to tivera, of the same smooth texture as the scales on their snouts above their noses. Most tivera have split tongues and ears. Mentally, tivera are very capable. Eyesight is their strongest sense followed by their hearing ability.
How do Rarities Work? wrote:"No Rarity" traits can be given to any tivera made
as an adopt. These traits are not considered edits
and do not pass down to pups directly, and may
occur spontaneously on pups even when neither
parent had the trait.
"Common" traits can be given to any tivera made
as an adopt.
"Uncommon" traits can be given to about two in
every five tivera made as adopts.
"Rare" traits sometimes show up in tivera made
as adopts.
"Special" traits only show up in tivera that come
up in special events.
