"It could of been worse. He could of just straight up eaten york. But you are right, that is incredibly odd. Delta wouldn't do that consciously, and he's not the only one acting strange." Alpha responded gently

"Oh, great, more bad news," North sighed, holding his head in his hands. "I want it to go back to normal. Cute flower shop meeting and a date, not this..." He mumbled.

Wash held Maine's hand, but he was watching and listening as best he could to Alpha and North's conversation.

"You're dating the son of a were, things are never normal." Alpha retorted in amusement to try and ease the mood.

North laughed once. "South is gonna kill me for weirding up her life," he said aloud, also trying his best now to stop freaking out.

Alpha chuckled a bit in amusement, faintly taking notice to how maine had relaxed now that north wasnt pacing. Why was maine in a sudden hunting mindset? "Oh i doubt she'd actually do it." He mused playfully.

Wash had picked up on the same detail as Alpha. He did his best to relax, trying to fully draw Maine out of a hunting state. He leaned back in his chair, keeping Maine's hand in his as he moved it to his knee.

North chuckled. "Right, right," he replied, "she'd hire someone else."

Alpha snorted a bit in amusement, but when he noticed maine not focused on them, he got serious. "How did delta act in his shifted form?" He questioned.

"Extremely feral." North responded pretty quickly. "He was not willing to share stuff, and he kept doing things like eat stuff that's not food and knock down trees to nest in. I was the only one he'd chill out for, other than that is seemed like toleration or agitation." He had clearly been thinking about this.

"He may of been eating non food things so to try and not lash at you guys. But that other stuff sounds kind of odd. Almost like prey trying to hide from a predator." Alpha grumbled.

"What in its right mind would prey on a dragon?" North asked, his voice much quieter now. He frowned in concern. Alpha was the expert here, if he said Delta was acting weird, he was acting weird.
