"I intend to join." He said calmly, "I left my previous clan in search of the highly respectable Duskclan. However, last time someone from my clan visited, it was not called Duskclan." He pondered.

He curled himself tightly around Spottedpaw and rested his muzzle on her head, shutting his eyes as he choked back a yowl of misery. "I'm so sorry. I know things seem hopeless now, but I know that we - that I will do everything in my power to find them once the rain stops. We will find our clanmates - we have to believe that. For their sake, and for ours." He let the rain pour down, pooling around them, oblivious to the two warriors nearby, and not caring anyways.

Brighteyes had already made up her mind, she was coming back to her clan.. But getting an assigned mate made her stomach turn.

Stormyskies nodded in agreement and looked out at the storm uneasy. "If we think about their rage too often we'll begin to think everything bad is a sign we've done wrong." he commented.

Darkgaze paused, turning his head to look back at Nightspook "Are you alright?" he asked turning to walk back over to her. He still seemed to be perfectly calm regardless of the situation they were in. "Let's keep heading north." he said before he turned back around, waiting for her before he continued. Inside, Darkgaze was pretty worried, but he'd never let that show. He was the type of cat that hid his own feelings and fears in favor of being there for everyone else.

Swiftleap fell silent, staying close to Briareyes as he watched their kits. He silently wished he could comfort her, his mind more on thinking up ways to do that than trying to pay attention to what the kits were saying.

Treekit flinched slightly when he saw the lightning strike before he looked over at the other two kits. "What if StarClan is mad?" he said softly. "Maybe.. Maybe someone did something? There has to be a reason they won't help us..." he said pinning his ears. He shifted nervously "They still like us don't they?" he asked pitifully.

Acornkit frowned "I think Volekit is right, I think they're just being dumb.. Or maybe they don't know? Maybe they can't see how high the water is from up there? We all must look so small.." she said glancing up at the sky trying to make sense of everything.

You didn't notice the newcomer and you didn't notice me. You'd think you'd be more observant." she teased before she looked at Silentstream and smiled warmly "I'm glad to see you're okay. I'm not sure where everyone else is. I haven't seen our leader or deputy to let them know about... Swiftnight." she said eyeing the new cat as suspiciously as Brackenfall had.

Paleflame lifted his head looking around "We're getting out of the water." he said nudging Swallowfeather slightly and offering her a small smile. "I don't see anyone else from the clan yet but we can find a dry place.. or as close to dry as we can find and we can wait it out." he said.

Willowsong purred lightly her heart racing slightly when Treetail came close. She pricked her ears lifting her head up "We can finally sit down?" she said relief evident in her voice.

Spottedpaw had never been on her own before, she'd always had her kin and plenty of friends but now it felt like it was all closing in.

Wolfstar flicked his tail slowly his gaze moving over the camp one last time before he nodded "We can go to higher grounds." he said before he stood up. Hopping up on the rock he used to call for meetings "Cats of DawnClan!" he shouted across the camp. "We will be leaving our camp for the time being and moving to the higher ground in our territory. Just as a precaution." he said. "I need all the apprentices to find a warrior to escort them. I need at least one warrior to go with every queen to protect them as well." he said. "No one gets left behind." he said.

Shaking his head he looked at his mate "Hopefully our kits have a little more sense when it comes to disasters than my brother does." he said.

Mottlecloud nodded before he glanced around "I.. guess closer to loner territory.. Where do you think DuskClan would have fled to?" he asked Flurrybreeze keeping his voice low as to not interrupt his niece and Shadowsneak. He felt incredibly guilty but he didn't want to show it. He moved closer to Flurrybreeze pressing against her side for comfort.
