I believe you can. However it is not mandatory for your mod to give you that requested cat. I also want to say that it would be better if you waited till your Moonpool visit. You can always try PMing your mod though!

Well you shouldn't do it every time, but I know that if you really want it every now and then it's fine. ^^ I did request a cat too once!
