Duskclan, before/during the flood

The little kit was sleeping. Silver kit was suddenly awoken by the sound of water. She sleepily padded out of the nursery. She was shocked at what awaited her.

the camp was flooded. The Warriors den was being evacuated and a sleepy elder was being ushered outside. She wailed pitifully for her mother. Otterfur appeared.
"Silver kit, were's you mother?" She said. Silver kit was speechless; Otterfur was her older sister, she was exiled from being forbidden mates with Snowflurry, he was found and killed. Now Otterfur lived in Dawnclan.
"I-I don't know we're mommy is!" Silver kit wailed. Otterfur ran over to a Duskclan warrior who was herding Kits away.
"We're is Lureltail?" She asked. Otterfur returned. "Okay, listen Silverkit. I'm going to take you to Dawnclan, I will care for you there."
"But were's mommy?" The little kit asked. Otterfur sighed.
"The warrior said she went to make dirt and was swept away. She's probably dead." Otterfur held resentment against her mother as she had reported Snowflurry. Otterfur distanced herself from Lureltail as much as possible.

on the way, Silverkit did not remember much as she mourned for her dead mother.she got to the nursery a and fell asleep on her older sisters flank.

She ran. She had to get to her sister, save her from the flood. Her mom, not so much. In fact, she would steal Silverkit if she had to.

The Duskclan camp was flooded. The heavy rain would likely make its way to the camp. Otterfur made a mental note to tell Wolfstar. She heard a pity full wail, "Lureltail!". Otterfur found her little sis outside the nursery.
"Silverkit, were's you mother?" It's my mother too...she thought with a twinge of guilt.
"I don't know we're mommy is!" The little kit said. She spied a warrior and ran over.
"You! Were's Lureltail?" She said.
"U-um, sh-she whent t-to m-make dirt and she a-um, got swept a-away...they're s-searching for her!" The tom said.
"Thanks!" She called over her shoulder. As she whent back to Silverkit. "Okay, listen Silverkit. I will take you too Dawnclan , I will care for you there."
"But were's mommy?" The little kit asked. Otterfur sighed.
"The warrior said she went to make dirt and was swept away. She's probably dead." Otterfur held resentment against her mother as she had reported Snowflurry. Otterfur distanced herself from Lureltail as much as possible.

Otterfur helped Silverkit stumble blindly home and settle her into the nursery.

“Yes you are a big cat.” Blazepaw meowed to Stormkit. She didn’t want to risk waking Lilykit. She anxiously watched Flamingshadow and Robinslash and waited for them to cross the tree.

“It’s better than getting sick out here.” Smokepaw meowed to Silverkit before picking her up and hurrying into the den.

“I’m just glad we are safe.” Silverkit meowed.

“We haven’t seen Mom in a while. Yes who is this kit?” Mousekit asked. She was surprised but happy to see a friendly face.

Swiftnight had recently left the safety of his clan and ventured to awards the territory of the fabled Duskclan and Dawnclan. His ambitions drew him towards Duskclan - seeking greatness in the fall of the day. That was when the rain started.

At first it was a slow drizzle but the small droplets soon turned to those the size of river-pebbles. He was close, he could smell cats, but the rain was washing the scents away. He his beneath a brambles bush before spying a few cats in the rain...

Creamflower smiles and nuzzles Bearshadow, purring. "I am ready to go now!" she said. "Lets run away together right now!" She is happy that it isnt flooding right now, but she feels it will flood over here eventually.

Stormyskies glanced at Waterflight sadly, it seemed they had more in common then he liked to think about. He wrapped his tail around her hoping to comfort her.

Embergaze glanced at the queen before she nudged her "Head north. Keep going until you're out of the flood waters and then just keep going after that." she said. "The rest of the clan should be heading that way i'm sure you'll find more of them already there. It's higher ground there, away from the river. You'll be safer there but you must go immediately." she said quickly.

Frostpetal managed a weak grin "You don't have to tell me twice, i'd hate to get left here." she said as hurriedly followed the other she-cat. Sticking close to her she tried to think of something to say that would comfort them both but was at a loss. Her thoughts kept traveling back to the fire and now to this.. She wasn't sure how much more anyone could take.. How much more she could take.

Ravenwind pinned his ears "Stormwake are you sure?" he asked not really wanting to leave the other warrior. He knew they weren't close but that didn't mean he didn't worry for Stormwake, especially after all they'd been through. He glanced at Windsong then looked back at Stormwake.

Brackenfall continued along trying to find more of his clan mates in case anyone needed any help. He was especially worried for his brother and Windsong, he was sure they were together. He paused when he spotted a few more of his clanmates but before he could make his way over to them he felt someone watching. Turning his head he looked around narrowing his eyes suspiciously "Is someone out there?" he called out. He was pretty sure he sounded like a foolish apprentice checking to see if anyone was lurking out in the rain but it was too late to take it back now.

Darkgaze paused, turning his head to look back at Nightspook "Are you alright?" he asked turning to walk back over to her. He still seemed to be perfectly calm regardless of the situation they were in. "Let's keep heading north." he said before he turned back around, waiting for her before he continued. Inside, Darkgaze was pretty worried, but he'd never let that show. He was the type of cat that hid his own feelings and fears in favor of being there for everyone else.

Swiftleap nodded "It is best to focus on us." he said before he frowned, watching Volekit carefully for a few moments before he continued. Swiftleap seemed a bit more guarded about his family now that they'd lost two of their kits. "We just have to get through this together.." he said softly. Swiftleap wasn't as extroverted as before, the tension that had been spreading through the clan because of the recent disasters seemed to have taken a bit of a toll on him. He wrapped his tail around Briareyes but his eyes never left their kits. "We've made it this far though, I think we'll be okay and I think the rest of the clan will be too." he said.

Treekit moved closer to his brother, frowning nervously. "Why would StarClan send it?" he asked softly. "Do you think we could have done something wrong?" he asked. He opened his mouth to speak again but was interrupted by their cousin Acornkit.
"We didn't do anything, StarClan doesn't punish kits." Acornkit interrupted suddenly. She frowned "Someone else would have had to have done something.." she said softly.

Hawktalon

Hawktalon sat in silence as he listened to Swiftleap and Briareyes speak, his gaze was on the rain still falling out over their territory. A worried look on his face as he silently prayed for it to stop.

Riverbriar pricked her ears when she spotted Brackenfall not far from where she was and let out a sigh of relief. She and Brackenfall weren't really close but.. Seeing anyone felt a surge of relief. She had no idea where her younger siblings were and her forbidden mate had perished in the flood.. She hadn't been able to save him and she felt like a complete failure. She dragged her paws as she moved closer to Brackenfall.

Knowing they'd exile him anyways just because of how he felt.. He shook his head as he continued forward "Perhaps they're somewhere in loner territory.. Though I guess now that would be loner and clan territory.." he said.

Paleflame lifted his head looking around "We're getting out of the water." he said nudging Swallowfeather slightly and offering her a small smile. "I don't see anyone else from the clan yet but we can find a dry place.. or as close to dry as we can find and we can wait it out." he said.

Willowsong purred lightly her heart racing slightly when Treetail came close. She pricked her ears lifting her head up "We can finally sit down?" she said relief evident in her voice.

Wolfstar flicked his tail slowly his gaze moving over the camp one last time before he nodded "We can go to higher grounds." he said before he stood up. Hopping up on the rock he used to call for meetings "Cats of DawnClan!" he shouted across the camp. "We will be leaving our camp for the time being and moving to the higher ground in our territory. Just as a precaution." he said. "I need all the apprentices to find a warrior to escort them. I need at least one warrior to go with every queen to protect them as well." he said. "No one gets left behind." he said.

"We can talk about names when we're on even higher ground." he said.

He wondered around the twolegs Place, trying to find a shelter to hide to the rain. The rain was too thick to be seen anything, but all he feeled was that the wet muddy ground was chanced to something hard and he could smell a bitter smell of thunderpath. He didn't really know where to go, but frozed when heared a horrible noisy sound and bright light coming to his way fast. He realised it to be a monster, but has no time to run for it and got hitted.

“Yes it’s best to stay close together if we wish to stay warm.” Smokepaw agreed, sitting close to Hollowcliff. She put Silverkit down between them.

“At least it’s dry in here. Silverkit meowed. Then she curled up to try and warm up.

“You didn’t see Mom on your way here did you?” Mousekit asked.
