"I am glad that you think it was fun too. I enjoyed it." He said and got in the car and drove. "What would you like to do now?" He asked.

Amethyst thought for a bit. "Maybe we should tell your friends about the wedding. We could invite them over....or do you think they are still mad at you for leaving?"

"I know they are still mad but we can try." He said to her and drove home. He got out and opened the door for her and then called one of them. He just hoped they would talk. They did but they could not come over so he called another one.

Amethyst got out of the car and went inside. She went into the kitchen and grabbed some food and then went over to the couch. "I don't understand why they are mad at you for leaving." She hugged Liam.

Liam hugged her back. He smiled a little at her and shrugged. "It has to do with a promise that we made as kids. They took it seriously and I chose you instead of the pact. That is just how it is.

"Oh." Amethyst looked down at her legs. "They should be happy that you're back to hang out with them for a bit." Amethyst felt a little bad that she is the reason why Liam went away from his friends.

"Ya. I am not so sure. It is in the pact that you leave the group, you are out forever." He said to her. "I will call them though." He said to her. "It won't hurt to try." He added.

Amethyst still felt really bad but nodded. "Alright." She looked out the window as Liam called his friends. She started to wonder if she could get human friends. But Amethyst wouldn't be able to tell them that she is mermaid and she can't stay on land forever.

Liam sighed when his call was sent to voicemail. He called another friend and it happened again. He was glad when the third try worked and he got through. "Hey. I wanted to invite everyone to my place for a while." He said. "I know that you are all mad but can you please come." He said to them. They finally agreed. "Well one agreed." He said to her.

"That's good. At least you get to see one of your friends." Amethyst looked back at Liam and smiled. She grabbed the tv remote and started to watch tv. When there was a knock at the door she looked at the door and back at Liam. "I bet it's your friend."
