bay was born to two show-dogs, having five sisters it was sometimes hard to scrape by. he showed no characteristics of a show dog, often fighting really roughly with his sisters. when dogs showed no potential they would give them a home with a loving owner; but that was all just fake. they told the pups this because they didn't want them to worry, but when it was time they threw him and one of his sisters out in the fields. him and his sister became really close, they didn't mind the change of scenery. one day as they were playing, his sister tumbled into a huge paved road. before she could run she was killed by a car, it was terribly heartbreaking for the young dog, he knew he couldn't keep up with his playful antics anymore. he found a pack, & quickly climbed the ranks, he is now satisfied with his rank as the beta.

nadia was born to a mother whom was dropped off by a breeder, pregnant & alone. she gave birth to two beautiful pups, a female &a male. she was overjoyed to have pups, but she had a hard time finding food. once the pack came she was boney & frail, she dropped the pups off at a pregnant dog's feet and died a few hours later. she knew her pups would be safe & fed with the pack. nadia was the runt of the litter, testing out her hunting skills on beetles and crickets in the den. she grew up to be a wonderful hunter, her brother supporting her all the way. one day while she was hunting with her brother, humans came and took her brother before they could react. she was scarred by this, because she didn't do anything to stop it. she often blames herself for something she couldn't have done differently.

aria doesn't remember much from her past, she had problems growing up. her mother was a irish setter mix, dying during birth. she was the only pup who survived, learning early on she had to take care of herself. she is an excellent hunter for her age, shocking most of the dogs who know her. she is usually very lonely, often searching for company. she has passed by the packs a handful of times, but she would never get enough confidence to talk to them.

faith was adopted into a loving home at 8 weeks old, along with her brother riot. both pups were trained at a very early age to compete, where faith earned the tile 'best in show'. unfortunately for riot and faith, their owner's mother fell seriously ill and she had to go look after her. the decision to leave riot and faith behind was a difficult one, as their owner loved them dearly, but her mother was allergic to dogs. she reluctantly left them with a distant relative, who tied them to a tree and abandoned them the second faith's owner took off. faith pulled and tugged so hard on her collar that she rubbed her neck raw, and she now has the scar to prove it. they barked and barked and barked, but no one heard. their jaws hurt from trying to chew through each other's collars and their tongues were swollen from dehydration. one morning, faith woke up free from her restraints. riot remained curled up by the tree, his body cold to faith's touch. he worked all night to free his sister and once he fell asleep, he would never wake up again. nothing compared to the heartbreak she felt when she lost her brother, but faith knew she had to keep going. she would live for riot. the toller had no idea where she was or what she was going to do, so she picked a direction and started walking. eventually she found another dog, a stray, who lead her to their pack and faith decided that this place would be her new home.

mercury was born a stray. his family lived in an abandoned park for the majority of his life, until one day mercury's curiosity got the best of him and he got in trouble with the law. dog law that is. animal control managed to trap mercury and lock him up in their truck. brought him to the pound. he was in the shelter for half a day before someone came by and couldn't resist his puppy dog eyes. the second they had brought him outside he bolted. he had no idea which way home was, but mercury just wanted to stay away from the humans. he came crashing down into the pack's territory, literally. tumbling down a ravine he managed to collide with one of the pack dogs and he joined the pack after that.
