2017 Advent Event - Pet, Item & Event Discussion

Yep, they are all still growing though so I assume their legs are gonna light up as the days go on. I'm not fond of squids but they're pretty interesting.

After last year. .. I think I set myself up for disappointment. They would have to be extremely superb in order for me to like them.

Yeah Berkshire's pets were a hard act to follow. These are nice, but yeah I think I set my expectation too high after last year as well.

i really like the squids! i didn't even notice they were still growing but the possibility of their legs lighting up as the days pass is really clever and cute in my opinion ^^ plus, their colors are really nice - i'm usually drawn to pastels but the bronze / silver / gold looks good on them :o

Can I just say that I find it neat and clever to use the squid lineart for the Hanukkah event?
Squid have 8 arms, matching the 8 candles that will be lit over the course of the celebration.
And even though the CS squid are kiiinda off anatomically (with only 7 visible arms), using the second tentacle instead still makes it work.
They're a living menorah and I think that's a cool pet idea.

(I know we've had menorah themed pets before, but with the squid it just fits so well!)

The ram puppers are cute.

The squid are neat though I have never been fond of them. I am sure there will be a squid to change that some day.

I like the body of the ice lion (reminds me of a frozen lake~), but I don't like the eyes. v_v

i LOVE her body <3 but i've to agree on the eyes :< it just doesn't feel like the smaller eyes fit the cartoony muzzle
also when i tried to give my lioness some pretty contacts half of the items listed as fitting lions weren't converted?? >:0

I love these. I don't even celebrate Hanukkah, but their metallic shinyness really makes me happy ...
