Jessica smiled at the warmth and curled into it, happy to see gordon had returned. Slowly her nightmares had faded and were replaced with nothing. Tonight would be a restful sleep.

He kept a straight face, avoiding any emotion as it may be used against him. Gordon then cracked a smile as he felt his lover next to him. He then began to contemplate, thinking about what happened last night, what that strange man said and how he could help with this situation. 'Does she have friends..." he whispered quietly to himself. His eyes lit up, going back to thinking in his mind. "Friends! Matt!" He realized "I'll bring him here, he could help!"

Jessica rubbed her face against his chest as the noise from him yelling. “What are you babbling about hun?” She groaned as she opened her eyes and looked up to him. Her face was covered in exhaustion and her eyes only opened half way. Her hand gently laid on the middle of his chest as she smiled gently.

Gordon looked down at his girl and gave her a small smile. "Well, when a guy is in a confusing situation, they often talk to themselves. I'm just talking about dumb stuff that comes to my mind" he lied quietly. He looked into her eyes and felt his heart crack slightly. He then turned away and put his hand on her that was on her chest.

She nodded with suspicion but was too tired to press on. “You are a horrible liar by the way.” She giggled softly and turned her hand slightly so her fingers could wrap around his. “I love you gordon and I’m sorry for being so hidden.”

Gordon laughed gently "I don't know why I even try to lie. You can read me like a magazine" he stated. His focus then turned into what she said next. "Hidden? How are you being so hidden, sweetheart?"

Her smile grew as they spoke of his horrible lying. “I don’t know why you try ether but I’ll let it go for now.” Then she turned her head away from his face. “Like secrets you don’t know about me. I just don’t want to be putting your life in danger.”

Gordon raised an eyebrow "Life in danger?" he said then let out a small chuckle "As soon as we met I knew there was going to be a few landmines under the soil". Gordon then cleared his throat "I know you didn't mean what I just said. Please, Explain?"

Jessica sat up and put her hand on her forehead, gathering the courage. “I’m a ninja from Japan.” She said simply. “That’s why my parents and I don’t talk because I left there. After a few years, they moved out to California looking for me. They want me to go back with them.”
