To enter this category, you must have hoard of a species that is not a regular adoptable. Malk pets do not qualify here, as they have their own category. (ex: lions, rabbits, guinea pigs)
This record is currently held by: ( )

I'd like to enter this category with a single-variation rare warrior cat.

I've got a whopping four. xD
[group here]
Just bumping it because it hasn't been on the front page yet?
Also in this category
~Largest " very common" single variation hoard~
Kag's pet that she is hoarding is now "common" rather than "very common".

Drucilla is totally correct. I did created this thread origionally and though I don't but in often this totally ruins the purpose of that particular record. It was designed such that animals that werent in wide enough distribution to get their own record would have a place to go. Warrior cats already have their own category, at the top of the page. Also, as drucilla said, the title is "special species". The CAT species IS A REGULAR ADOPTABLE.
Drucilla wrote:-Firestar- wrote:Yes, warrior cats would count.
Umm.. I don't want to start any kind of a debate really... But in my opinion warrior cats should not qualify here. The species, Cats, ARE a regular adoptable, just with updated lines. Would the "old horse" lines qualify here? No...
Additionally warrior cats were a regular adoptable at one point, they have just been retired (like the equimagine horse lines).
It seems to me that this category is for the unique species like rabbits, guinies, lions, dragons, etc that have never been released in a standard category. Also these "special species" do not have a standard world record, and warrior cats DO.
Well, that's just me, Feel free to ignore, just wanted to put in my two cents.
Good luck everyone!
I HOARD WARRIOR AND TESS CATS! PLEASE SEND ME YOUR UNWANTEDS!

@ Cat Lady: While this is true the warrior cat does not have its own page on the adoption page; therefore I think it qualifies. Although I would probably agree with you if one of my own hoards didn't qualify. xD I guess it's all up to Firestar.

That the creator of the original thread. She stress this and knows the rules. I agree with Drucilla since warrior cats already have a record for their owns. 2 of the same hoards owned by two people isn't a record at all.

Is there a 2009/2010/2011 version of this? I don't think there is.
May I please enter a 2010 Single Variation Hoard?

Okay, now that I'm home I can run updates.
I took me half a day to come up with the decision of 'yes' believe it or not. My original ruling for the warrior cats was 'no' for all the reasons Drucilla stated.
However,
They are no longer regular adoptables and come out as specials as seen in the current record holder's hoard. Yes, CATS are regular adoptables but warriors will never been seen as one again.
Tess had stated that the line art was retired, but would be seen as a special on some holidays. That alone is reason enough for me to include current warriors as specials.
Does this mean any warrior cat after the retirement of the lineart in 2009 doesn't count for any record ever? I don't see a current adoptable gotten at a holiday beating out a hoard of a regular adoptable that was available for nearly three years. This gives the new ones a chance. They get to compete with all the other specials though like rabbits and guinea pigs.
If anyone else wishes to throw more evidence and reasoning at me feel free, but here is my rebuttal to the current debate.
Edit: sorry was thinking of two categories as once. o.O should be fixed now.
