((Ohhh poor Bucky.))

Loki had briefly ducked back into the cell to avoid being struck by a rather sudden onslaught of bullets. Unlike the weapon that he was firing, the shots which were being fired at him were undoubtedly meant to be lethal, or at least meant to truly hurt and incapacitate him. "Of all of the weapons within this damn building, did you really have to grab one incapable of killing?" He hissed to Valkyrie, disliking the fact that his own shots were only capable of momentarily stunning his targets. He would have much preferred to be wielding something with a bit more power behind it. In contrast to his more 'heroic' fellow escapees, Loki had no qualms about killing those who clearly wished him harm. If the small taste of torture from earlier had taught him anything at all about Hydra, it was that death was a kinder fate than what their agents wished to do with him.
As his attention was turned toward his two companions, he missed the moment in which Bucky had pulled Evelyn from her cell. His green-blue eyes were focused upon Sleipnir, who had tried and failed again to make it to his feet without falling. Loki was aware that Sleipnir wished to help them, but they were running out of time. Soon the other prisoners would either escape or be subdued by the swarm of approaching Hydra agents, and then their own window of opportunity would grow ever slimmer. Once more he hoped that Valkyrie would simply grab Sleipnir and take the opportunity to flee while it was even marginally available to them. He himself obviously wished to break free from this horrible place, as well, but with his ankles bound and his magic unable to be used without an instantaneous punishment being inflicted upon him, he was aware that he would only be slowing them down. Among everyone within the cell block, he was possibly the least likely to successfully escape. And as the one who had attacked Hydra's base in the first place, which had ultimately led to this break-out, the irony of his misfortune was not lost on him.
Peering back out into the hall, fully prepared to begin shooting at the Hydra agents once more in an attempt at holding them off, Loki suddenly froze and his breath hitched. Familiar white hair and pale skin met his gaze, and even though they were some distance apart, he had still recognized her immediately. Excitement, confusion, sorrow, and pain. All at once a flurry of emotions hit him like a ton of bricks. "Evelyn?" He breathed, more to himself than anyone else. In all honestly, he could hardly even believe what he was seeing. She was muzzled and scarred, and she displayed an almost timid demeanor which he'd never known her to have before, but it was still undoubtedly her. Had she been Hydra's prisoner this entire time? Loki could only imagine what had been done to bring her so low, and it was a thought which both sickened and angered him. The trickster was also suddenly struck with an incomparable feeling of guilt, having assumed that she'd left him and that she was living a far better life away from his chaos, when clearly that hadn't been the case.
The muzzle was thankfully cut from Evelyn's face by the Winter Soldier, but the knife had left a vicious cut in it's wake that caused the trickster god to wince. He felt suddenly torn between his desire to remain by Sleipnir's side and an impulsion to run to Evelyn's, fearing that she were about to be murdered in front of him. His mind was made up for him, however, when he made to step forward and was promptly reminded of the shackles hobbling him. Loki couldn't run. However, he could continue to defend Evelyn, Bucky, and Skyler from his place further down the hall, downing as many agents as he possibly could with the stunning gun that Valkyrie had provided him with. He did not know about the words being spoken to Bucky, or the terrible outcome that it could have possibly meant from them. When he himself had first crossed paths with the Winter Soldier, Bucky had been within his own mind, and Loki wasn't ever aware that the man could be triggered into forgetting himself.
