He was running after something in the woods, and got stuck in a trap. It had to be amputated, because the trap was old and rusted.
how do you help him cope?;
I love on him as much as possible, give him all his favorites, try to help him figure out how to balance without it, and have my sub Christmas boy befriend him.

how'd he loos his leg?;

Hopkins was walking home threw the chilly afternoon. He had decided to listen to some music while walking home. He started to walk home and began to cross a rather busy street. Unfortunately for Hopkins he was off in his own little world, listening to music and lost in this thoughts. This would spell certain doom for Hopkins as a car came rushing towards him. The driver didn't see Hopkins nor did Hopkins see the driver till it was too late. The car hit Hopkins throwing him. The driver stopped and rushed over to Hopkins aid. Because of this Hopkins didn't die and he was quickly taken to the hospitable. Without the Driver stopping to aid Hopkins he might have not made it. It did cost him his leg but he is okay now. A bit shaken up but he is still alive.

how do you help him cope?;

Even though Hopkins has accepted the fact he has lost his leg and forgives the driver, he still has a hard time. He still has nightmares of being hit by the car and being rushed to the hospitable. I help him cope by always being there for him and helping him with anything he needs. It has been very hard on him but with love and care he should get better soon.
