My parents always liked to keep things modern. Everything in my apartment was white or glass and brand new, and one wall of it was all window. It's always clean, even my princess castle. I love it, it's my home. I love my parents, even when they leave me behind to play their human games. They call it a job, and it sounds like a super boring game. They leave every day and it makes me side, like this morning. "Bye, Gidget! I'll bring you home something special!" Mommy said as she walked through the door. I whine at the door, bouncing and scratching until she's gone. Then I run over to the couch and struggle to hop up because of my tiny little legs, before managing and flipping on the flat screen TV. Yay! My favorite soap opera was still on! It always played in the mornings, and I loved it so much. I wiggle my curly tail as I watch for a moment, running back and forth. That is, until my focus changes.
I jumped off the couch and ran straight into the giant window of a wall as I see Erebus heading in the direction of the park. I shake my head, before bounding into the kitchen, dragging over a chair, and hopping up onto the counter to stick my little head out the window above the marble sink. "Erebus! Hey, Erebus! Where ya going?" I call, wiggling my fluffy tail.

Obviously I'm a little sad whenever my girl has to leave, because she's my favorite person in the whole world and she leaves me every day to go to work. Ugh, I hated that word. That, and 'bad boy'. Since the moment she stepped out of bed, I was up her butt about leaving mine again. Following her around with a wagging tail and a toy in my mouth. One time I followed her into the shower and stayed there staring at her, but that was a mistake because I ended up getting soap into my eyes. I remember she was laughing so hard, and the pain didn't matter because she was happy. And that's what matters. But she has to leave again, so this time and put my paws on her shoulders and wave my tail. She kisses my head and then she's gone.
Welp, guess it's time to destroy the place. Just kidding, I'm a good boy, I promise. Well, besides sneaking out. I listen at the door until I hear her heels fade, then I push open the big window in the kitchen and leave the apartment. My paws land on the metal grate, and I carefully jog down the stairs until I'm jogging across the concrete and towards the alley. Time to chase cats. I make my way into the alley, sniffing around. I smell Brodie not too far off, and decide to hide. I duck behind a dumpster, hear him call out,
and slowly walk up behind him. My shadow casts on the brick wall in front of him, making me three times my size. I let out a deep growl to let him know I'm there.
