I've been dying to get into the raid battles tbh. It's just really hard because I have no way of meeting up with people as my parents need our car, and I obviously can't make it halfway across town on foot in like 20 minutes. xD It's really frustrating though, as I always seem to miss out.

I've missed out on pretty much every legendary, aside from Ho-oh, who I'm still desperately trying to obtain. But considering I don't even have a tyranitar yet, or a dragonite, that's wishful thinking. So I really hope they bring them back for a while even though I know they will probably focus on the gen three ones for a while considering we've already seen a teaser of groudon.

gen 3 along with the weather update dropped yesterday! we also have quite a few gen 3 pokémon in raids including absol who already has a shiny form available in game.

Ho-Oh is one of my favorite legendaries, but I'm home from college now and the nearest gym is miles away and there's no one raiding in my town so I won't be able to get one D:

The thing is, a few months ago when I still attempted to play I joined as many raids as possible.

You've probably figured out that no one joined.

And I downloaded one of those group chat apps for your area. The nearest person on the app was 5km away and didn't speak English.

Gen 3? Weather? Great to know, thanks. I'm pretty sure they haven't fixed the rural aspect, right?

Also used to go on the maps thingy.

No one recorded any spawns in my area. Keep in mind this was when people were EXTREMELY active (not that my area was ever active lol)

Yes I'm very salty. But I thought the game had a chance and I really like the concept of a free Pokemon game that gets you active.

Some towns have discord chats for Pokemon Go players, have you checked if your town (or the nearest larger town) has one? It's too bad that it's so hard for rural players to catch Pokemon

I don't think I'll ever stop being salty over not being able to get the legendaries..
Wish they'd make worldwide trading possible. It's so disappointing to have a pokemon game where you can't get a full collection without being rich or cheating.

Unfortunately looks like I won't be getting a Ho-oh either. Wish I had a car, as well as more people locally to play with. Oh well, hopefully the legendaries come back at some point. I did get me a Blaziken though! link One of my favorites. <3 Very close to getting Swampert as well.

Do you have any sort of downtown area near you? That's where I found mine. There was a Torchic nest there, and there are mudkips everywhere.
