Actually, I did a bit of research. Due to something with an H name (Can't remember it for the life of me, bless), some of the hybrids can breed! It is all but unheard of for the colts to have the ability, due to their XY chromosomes being different. Some, although not every, female crosses can. Their XX being the same gives the small chance. They are not usually the most fertile, and it tends to be a bit of a gamble on if their babies will make it. The reason you never see third generation crosses are not see, I believe, is because people don't really want them. They are not guaranteed the novelty of the stripes, and are usually horses with a bad disposition and fewer chromosomes. I thought that I might make her be fertile, but:
1. If it is a colt, it will probably not be fertile. I will be doing RNG with the odds of 75/25 if it will be. If they aren't, they will either be killed off, stay around to help their father control the herd, or just stay in a bachelor band?
2. While females have a higher chance of being fertile, they'll be RNGed as well. 55/45 chances.
3. A lot with her will be left to the RNG gods.
Will the foal be conceived: 50/50
Will the foal develop: 20/80
Will the foal be a live birth: 40/60

I finally finished Cinderella's form, and it gave me time to find information.

Mules:
The reason that 99.9 % of mules cannot give birth is because of their chromosomes. Horses have 64, and donkeys have 62. Thus, nearly all of the mules end up with 63. This uneven number cannot properly split, and stops the mules from being fertile.
Cases of mules having foals is only around 50, and only a couple instances have been genetically confirmed.

Basically, a phenomenon seen in amphibians but not mammals can happen in which one set of genes is totally canceled. This gives them an even number of chromosomes.

Zebroid:
Now, zebriods are quite different. Again, horses all have 64 chromosomes. Zebras, depending on the species, have somewhere in between 32 and 46. When the foal is a draft cross, the zebra parent is likely a Grevy's. They have 46. Meaning the odds of having a hybrid that can breed go about like this:
47: Nope
48: Yes
49: Nope
50: Yes
The foals usually land in the middle of 54-56. 55 is the direct middle, and most common placement. That's why most are infertile.
And so on. Of course, this isn't the only factor.
Because of Haldane's rules, which is basically this thing talking about homogamtic and heterogamic chromosomes, concludes that the female offspring are much more likely to produce foals.

I did more reading, and have come to final conclusion.
I believe that we know more about the possibilities for Mules being fertile become of how common they are. It is much easier to obtain a donkey and a horse than a zebra and a horse. Thus, there has been more research on them. As for zorses, they are most commonly bred by zoos, circuses, or the government. In America, some of the crosses are bred to be used in a similar fashion to mules (They are resistant to some disease?). The offspring are not bred to have foals, but to work. Males are most likely castrated to encourage an even temperament.
From what I have experienced, even mules come into heat. It's in the same reasoning that makes Mollies EXTREMELY motherly (They are notorious for stealing foals).

I hope this explains what I mean? I actually enjoyed learning about these things, and now I can annoy people about horses all over again XD

whoops, I just sort of assumed it was only donkey crosses that couldn't reproduce. I didn't realise it was zorses as well. I still think a zorse would be fine, but I will put a limit in the rules (when I get the time) for only one zebra or donkey crossbreed every two years.

please remove the extra images for heart and bird. there is a cs rule specifying that you can only have one image per character (unless it's a foal and including an adult picture). I would rather not have mods asking for your post to be edited.
also, please review some of the histories, because (I can't remember which horses and I don't have much time) some include mentions of large herds. I have previously stated that the horses have been journeying for generations, mostly on their own, but occasionally in small groups of two to five horses max. once this is finished, I will review your forms and accept them :)

I finished ragnarök's form and have nearly finished editing/writing isis's. I changed isis's picture to a buckskin akhal teke rather than a black and changed thunder's image to a bay lusitano (because I didn't want two buckskins). thunder's form still needs to be recoded.

histories that need to be changed due to mentions of large herds. please remember that large herds do not exist because horses have been traveling on their own or in small groups for a long time and have forgotten their ways (which is the main storyline):

Okay, I got two more bare bone forms up on page 2. I will write out all their personalities later, but for now I just wanted to write down some basic traits so I don't forget (like I did last time with Calista). I meant to put more on Kasimira, but my computer decided to start having issues with the internet (turned out to be an adapter problem) and I just saved what I could. I've got everything working again so far, so I'll try and work on them some more later tonight or tomorrow.
