I love it when they have realistic chicken breeds/colors, personally. I'm no fun ik but I loved those silkies and polish that came out a while ago!

So true! It is what brought me to CS I saw one of the cats on a friends page, and then was SO excited when I was able to get
Pet's name: Captain Cool at the pound. So much like my "Brahma" at home - that I gave the img a mouse as "Big Boy" will not only steal the cat's food but their toys as well!

Hey guys, unfortunately one of our chickens died, mwaning that the poor lonely soul called wilma is in the coop by herself. We are just in the process of rehoming her, as we know she cant be here on her own. We've had quite a few chickens over the years but nost of them weren't exactly "planned"
So now we are getting new ones this spring and im wondering, im looking for a unique chicken breed ( one that you look at and ask " what the heck is that?" ) while still being extremely friendly and tame. I would love some of your guys's opinions!

Silkies fit that bill. So do Cochins. It depends on your preferences, and what you have in your area if you can find any of the rarer breeds but Sultans are lovely, Serama are some of the coolest out there (but super expensive most of the time) and so tiny! One of my house boys is a serama and he's darling
