What sort of career do you want to pursue? Do you make make a living through dance or is it just something you enjoy as a hobby? Where did you learn to dance? Did someone teach you or did you teach yourself?

"To relax? Oh I'm so busy with work and helping my mother I hardly have the time... if anything I'd say it's relaxing to take a nice walk through my mother's garden as I did when I was younger. When I was a kid I practically lived among her flowers and trees and there are so many good memories there. It's peaceful and quiet and closed off from the troubles of few world, almost like being in a cut off dream."

Uh, I’m open minded to some things, but very defensive when it comes to family/friends. If you make them your enemy, more than likely I now consider you my enemy sort of thing.

My earliest memory as a kit is a day when I went out with my father to take a walk one night. My mother was a fairly worrying kalon and she hardly ever let me out of her sight, never mind at night, so I had not done this all too many times before. This night was especially warm and as we walked, I began to notice little, flashing balls of light floating around distant from us. My father told me, "why don't you try to catch some, and in the morning we will see what they have turned into." So I captured one in a jar and we left it outside for the night. The next morning, I was surprised to find a small black and red beetle crawling about the jar. From that day on I have been fascinated by insects.

I bounced between career ideas as I grew, never knowing quite where I would be most useful. I considered becoming a nurse, a baker, and even a psychologist, but one day I decided I needed to follow my heart and it led me happily to entomology. It is rare for an insect to make me uncomfortable but I am sometimes wary around stink bugs as they do smell quite bad if you happen to startle them.

What made you get in to entomology? Was it your one and only desire for the future or did you have other ideas for your career before you fell on this path? Are there any insects that you truly don't like for any reason or are they all equally enjoyable to observe?

how did you get to be apart of the royal guard and why did you quit?

It's common to be drafted into the guard if you're from a low class family and decently healthy, which I happen to be. I started on night patrol for the first few years. The royal family goes through guards rather quickly, so the best of us are usually chosen to go through rigourous training to become a part of the team.

I didn't quit, so much as I was dishonorably pardoned by the Queen. Something...bad happened. It's not something I like to talk about.

where did i get the nickname rue from? hm, my mother told me when i was small that when i wanted to watch winnie the pooh, my favorite show as a child, i would instead say "roo roo" because the little kangaroo was my favorite character. so from then one i adapted the name "rue" the more feminine version as my mom wished to give me a cute nickname.

i spend most of my time feeding birds in the home, i have a little place in my backyard that opens out into the woods and the flowers and plants i have attract a lot of birds and wild life. so i set up bird feeders and such things and tend to just feed and watch them most days. they are great company and always come to me with new songs.

//sigh// I guess I do have one. I didn't even know I feared this. But there's this boy... He's clingy & I push him away whenever I get the chance. But there's something about his eyes & the way he smiles... It melts my heart. & I'm afraid of that. All my life I took pride in my emotionless, cruel, & cold-hearted nature. That boy is scary, he has the power to completely change me.

I guess you can say I fear falling in love.

I think finding others attractive is a natural thing and just the way we have evolved, but I also think, that with how advanced our thinking has become, that we should also not put so much emphasis on it. It's okay to look at someone and think that they are good looking, or not, but it should not define how we view and treat them as an individual. Physical appearance is not something we can control, but how we live our lives and treat others definitely is.

I think that I have a fairly simple style, something that is not too flashy but that also makes me look well-kept and somewhat classy. Everyone has a different view on the "right" fashion and I think as long as it makes them happy and its not offensive to others, they should rock anything they want to.
