Frostpaw would normally be surprised at being approached. Usually cats would go straight to Tigercreek - while they were both rather intimidating to talk to, the latter was more approachable. However, he hadn't seen his mentor around camp, so he supposed it couldn't be helped. He was finished with his late breakfast anyway.

"I think we do." He nodded, trying to sound sure of himself. He only became a medicine cat apprentice a moon ago, and it took him a moment to wrack through his mind of what the required herb was called. He hoped Dapplestream hadn't noticed, or if she did, wouldn't mention it. "We have some feverfew in stock, come on." He got up and walked towards the medicine cat den, and beckoned the older cat over.

Strikepaw tilted her head in slight confusion. "I don't really know what a city is, but that's a bummer. Fish is really good! I'm not the best at hunting, but would you like to learn how?" She offered, good-naturedly and without consulting any of her other clanmates - they were busy anyway. She was already thinking of spots they could meet, even before Ginger gave her an answer.

It might've been a bit odd to be so chummy with a complete stranger, but Strikepaw made an exception. After all, she had been a loner once too. That, and she was curious of what a 'city' was exactly. And if anything was going to be the end of her, it would be her insatiable curiosity. "Then you'd be able to fish somewhere off of our territory, yeah?"

Adderhead’s black head swiveled to the side, finding Shadowblaze, a warrior like him. He felt some kind of nervous butterflies form into his stomach. Sure, he’d never had many interactions with his fellow warrior, but he barely had interactions with anyone in LaurelClan. He was more of a quiet cat, so he kept to himself. “Thank you, Shadowblaze. Would you like the rest?” He asked, trying to seem polite. The nervous feeling in his stomach grew, making the black-haired tom shift on his paws. Adderhead licked the remainder of his breakfast from his whiskers, a bright pink tongue against black fur. His orange-yellow eyes remained on Shadowblaze.

Sparrowwind slept peacefully, dreaming of whatever popped into her head. Every so often the she-cat would turn and twist in her laying position.

She stood awkwardly in silence, not sure what to say or do next. It was pretty obvious that she wasn't full whatsoever

Her sister rushed off. "O..kay then." Swiftfoot decided not to follow her sister as she honestly didn't want to get involved in whatever fight was happening. Instead, she stood like a tree.

The cats continued to tussle furiously, oblivious to the apprentices that were clearly attempting to calm them down.

(Just have Silverpetal tackle Songheart away or something like that.)

"Maybe," she relented and followed after her loyal deputy, smiling gratefully at the she-cat. Primrosestar was lucky to have a cat like Amberwind in her clan and as her second-in-command. She settled down and nodded for the other to take the first bite.

Flattered, he smiled politely at Adderhead and purred "Oh, are you sure? You're the one who caught it, anyways." Shadowblaze cocked his head to one side and waited for his response, unsure if he should take the vole just to be polite. Although, there was also a feeling of slight guilt for taking the first, fresh catch of the day. Someone else was more deserving of it.

"Uh...guess we better go back. Or should we get Primrosestar?" they asked asked Featherpaw as they turned and watched Silverpetal sprint away. The fight could get worse, and as the two apprentices had left it was just getting heated.

Strikepaw simply laughed. "Just thought I'd offer! I'm not judging. I was a loner once, after all!" Rather than appearing bothered by the other cat's hostility, she was still nonchalant and cheery as ever.

"Besides it's not really pity - I wanna know what a city is! I can teach you how to fish if you tell me about it."

Silverpetal sprinted quickly down the beach, and rammed into her sister, knocking her down. "What are you doing!? she spat angrily at Songheart. "Have you no respect for your clanmates?! Why would you ever attack an apprentice!?"

Dapplestream followed Frostpaw into the medicine cat's den. "Thanks by the way." She simply smiled. The strong aroma of all the herbs mixed together in the den and created a smell that was barely tolerable for the calico she-cat. She shook herself and looked at a few of the herbs she could recognize, which was only a couple. Burdock, Chervil... it still amazes me how anyone can remember all these things. "How well do you like being a medicine cat?" The question probably could have been better worded, but she only really cared for the answer. She had seen many cats and apprentices unhappy with their roles to the clan but they may have been hesitant to tell others and she wanted to make sure another apprentice didn't make a mistake that would lead to displeasure in life later on.

(sorry if I'm ever taking a while to reply I've just been having some trouble finding motivation and inspiration to post)

the bicolor tom had wondered into the forest- again.. "well done, destre. no food. no shelter. no water. hey wait i take that back i see a lake." he mumbled to himself. the tom looked at the water, staring at his expressionless figure in the reflection. he leant over to take a sip of water, the liquid rippling with every lap of his tongue. he glanced around and spotted a small sparrow cleaning its feathers. he licked his wet muzzle and stalked over to the bird. he leapt into the air to grab it in his jaws and kill it. his leap was too late he missed the bird and it fluttered away. he let out an unsatisfied growl and watched the bird land in a tree nearby.

It only took a moment for Frostpaw to retrieve the feverfew, which was so delicately organized only a couple minutes ago. He nosed it over to Dapplestream, simply nodding in response to her thanks. "I'm sure you had it before - just chew it up before swallowing."

He stiffened upon hearing her question, however. Truth be told, he knew he was a better warrior apprentice - talented even. Being a medicine cat on the other hand...He had been struggling more than he anticipated, but he hoped that was due to the fact that he was still learning. He was not a fan of small talk, but refrained from snapping at her nonetheless. "It's hard. But the work is rewarding, so I don't regret becoming one." He said simply, not technically lying.

Strikepaw's eyes lit up at Ginger's response. "Great! It sounds like a plan - how about at sunrise? Most my clanmates will still be asleep then, and it's not really out of character for me to wander off!" She offered. While not too familiar with the land outside the territory, she made a mental note of the giant boulder.

She laughed again. "Wouldn't dream of it for the world! I wouldn't gain anything from hurting you, after all."
