I believe they are overpaying rarity (3 month rule) and demand whise (Malk pet). I don't really know the demand of your pet, so you should get a second opinion. ^^

They are indeed!! Rarity wise they are overpaying quite a lot. Maybe considering many people don't want to trade their Malk's your trading partner believes this is fair demand wise.
